Plans are underway to install a public E85 station at the Corporation Yard <br />within the next fiscal year. However, these vehicles can use regular gasoline until such time that <br />the new E85 station is installed. Additionally, there is no incremental cost difference for a flex fueled <br />vehicle vs. a regular gasoline powered one. <br />These replacement vehicles will be assigned to the Airport, Community Development, General <br />Services, Public Works, and Public Utilities Departments. They will replace vehicles that are <br />approximately 10 -12 years old with a range of mileage on average between 80,000 — 110,000. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds in the amount of $497,106.42 are available in the FY 2010 -11 General Services Motorpool <br />Account No. 2215200 - 462100 for this requirement.
