An Ordinance fixing the water rates in the Oity of Riverside, California, for the year commencing July let, 1911, and ending June 30th, 191'S, The Mayor and Common Council of tbs City of Riverside do ordain as ~llows! SECTION 1. That the rates of compensation to be collec'ted by any person, company or corporation engaged in the business of supplying water to the inhabitants of the City of Riverside, State of California, for family uses, for private purposes, for municipal uses, for irrigation, and for public p~rposes of the said City for the year commencing July let, 1911, and ending June $Oth, 1912, are hereby fixed as follows!- 5~TION 2. Water for domestic purposes shall be d~livered to consumers by all persons, companies or corporations, collecting water rates within the City of ~iyerside, when measured through meters, at the following rates, to-wit!- When used for strictly domestic purposes, nO water being used for irrigation, or for lawns or flowers;. Three Hundred (300) feet or lees per month, fifty cents (50~) per hundred ~eet. For elery addi- tional hundred ~eet per month, fifteen cents (1§~) per hundred feet, Provided that no water ~ate be les~ than One Dollar and forty cents ($1.40) per month for each family or separate user supplied with water through said meter, and provided, further, that any consumer who uses domestic water exclusively may have th~ same measured and adjusted by meter, but such consumer s'hall pay for the meter and shall pay such per- son, company or corporation supplying the same according to the quantity actually used, at the rate ~s fixed in this section, provided, however, that the monthly bill of each such user, while so supplie~ through suc~ meter shall not b~ess than One Dollar and forty cents ($1.40). SECTION ~. Water for domestic purposes shall be delivered to consumers by all persons, companies or corporations, collecting water rates within the City of Riverside when measured through m~e~s at the following rates, to-wit:-
