5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 1Z, 15 16 17 18 19 20 1 "Section 5. 2 (a) The zoning standards and requirements of this initiative ordinance shall not apply to any buildings existing prior to or under construction on the date of the enactment of this initiative ordinance or to the restoration or rehabilitation of or to any additions to such buildings 'provided that the use, restoration, rehabilitation or additions shall conform to the zoning in existence immediately prior to the effective date of this initiative ordinance. (b) Existing lawfully established uses of any property described in Section 3 or 4 of this initiative ordinance may be expanded onto any adjacent property also described in Section 3 or 4 of this initiative ordinance provided that both properties have been held in the same ownership since November 13, 1979 and further provided that a conditional use permit is approved for such expansion onto the adjacent property." 3 4 Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause publication once in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance with Section 414 of the Charter of the City of Riverside. This ordinance shall become effective on the 30th day after the date of its adoption.
