Breashears from the decision of the Board of <br />Zoning Adjustment in approving the request of Frank J~ Miller <br />and F~reman's Fund Insurance Company of San Francisco, Calif- <br />ornia, Zoning Case V-15-667, for a Variance to construct, <br />use and maintain an offzce buildmng, portions of which will <br />extend above the height limit of the zone, subject to the <br />recommendations of the Planning Commission, on the seven lots <br />:am 5495, 5507, 5515, 5521, 5555 and 5559 Arlington ~veuue, <br />Ismtuated on the northerly side of Arlington Avenue 255 feet <br />leasterly of Phoenix Avenue, in Zone R-1-65, with Zone RO <br />lhaving been approved by the adoption of Ordinance No. 3417 <br />lot December 20, 1966~ The communication from the Board of <br />IZonmng Ad3ustmenu sta[ed that the Board, by a vote of 3 ayes <br />Ito g noes, recommended approval of the recuest subject to theI <br />Ifollowing conditions: (1) The proposed building shall not <br />lexaeed 40 feet in height; (2) The location and design of the <br />I building shall be substantially as sho~ on the plot plan on <br />Ifile with this case; and (3) The granting of this Variance <br />Idoes not excuse compliance with all applicable rules and <br />Iragulations of laws and ordinances. The Planning Director <br />I presented departmental recommendations together with maps of <br />Ithe area~ No one was present desmring no speak in favor of <br />Ithe Appeal. Interested persons were present to speak in <br />lopposition to the granting of the Appeal. No writ[en protests <br />lwere presented.
