CITY COUNCIL <br />SUCCESSOR AGENCY <br />MINUTES <br />- - TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2023,3 P.M. <br />City Y'Arts&.Innovation PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br />Martin Luther King, Jr., Walk-a-Thon, and National Law Enforcement Day. Councilmember <br />Fierro reported on the Grand Opening of Cowboy Barbecue. Councilmember Conder <br />wished everyone a Happy New Year and reported on Robing Ceremony for four new <br />Riverside County Superior Court Judges, Sheriff Chad Bianco swearing-in ceremony, and <br />National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Councilwoman Plascencia reported on a <br />tour of Ward 5 with the new City Manager, Citrus Heritage Race, and Martin Luther King, <br />Jr., Walk-a-Thon. Councilmember Perry welcomed the new City Manager and reported <br />on tour of Ward 6 and requested to close City Council meeting in honor of fallen Sheriff <br />Deputy Isaiah Cordero. Mayor Lock Dawson reported on Martin Luther King, Jr., Walk-a- <br />Thon, Coffee with Mayor at Back to the Grind, State of the City Address, the City Spirit <br />Award, and thanked staff for their work on the Festival of Lights. <br />The City Council Mobility and Infrastructure Committee will conduct an in-person and <br />virtual special meeting on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Art Pick Council <br />Chamber. <br />The City Council Financial Performance and Budget Committee will conduct an in- <br />person and virtual special meeting on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 1 p.m., at the Art Pick <br />Council Chamber. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW AND EMPLOYEE <br />RECOGNITION <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the City Council received and ordered <br />filed a presentation of the Community and Economic Development Department <br />overview and employee recognition. <br />LEGAL UPDATE - BROWN ACT REQUIREMENTS FOR TELECONFERENCE MEETINGS <br />Following discussion and without formal motion, the City Council received and ordered <br />filed a presentation of the Brown Act requirements for teleconference meetings of the <br />legislative body. <br />
