PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD — <br />Luisa Tassan, Assembly member Sabrina Cervantes office, Mentioned AB477 <br />Emergency Preparedness: Vulnerable Communities Invitation to Technology Training <br />December 11, Veterans Recognition Program and passed out fliers. <br />COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATIONS <br />2. BRIEF REPORTS ON CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, MEETING ATTENDED BY <br />COMMISSION ON AGING MEMBERS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS OF UPCOMING <br />EVENTS. <br />Chair Fleishman mentioned that Riverside Community Hospital is requesting that <br />Commissioners retrieve gifts daily. She then reported that there were over 200 participants at <br />Purple Boat Float; she attended the November 9, Senior Health and Wellness event at the <br />Riverside Convention Center and would like to be inclusive with Commission on Aging in the <br />future. Chair Fleishman announced she will be hosting a Holiday Brunch at Rubidoux Manor in <br />December. <br />Commissioner Jimenez mentioned being a sponsor for Festival of Trees. <br />Commissioner Tavaglione mentioned that the Purple Boat Float was a good event and felt <br />Commission on Aging was well represented. <br />
