CU-068-012 DATE: 11-19-02 <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />ITEM NO. 23 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, RENDERING ITS DECISION GRANTING AN APPLICATION <br />FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside conducted a public hearing <br />on April 4, 2002 in the matter of the application of AT&T Wireless Services in Zoning Case CU- <br />068-012 for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a regional switching and staging facility consisting <br />of a 199-foot high lattice tower with related microwave dishes and antennas and a 529 square-foot <br />prefabricated equipment shelter on approximately 1.9 acres developed with a warehouse, located at <br />4135 Garner Road, northerly of Garner Road between Main and Rivera Street in the M-1 Light <br />Manufacturing Zone; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Plalming Commission approved Zoning Case CU-068-012 with condi- <br />tions set forth in the staff report and as determined by the City Planning Commission and <br />recommended that a mitigated negative declaration be adopted and referred the matter to the City <br />Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside ("City Council") conducted a public <br />hearing on July 23, 2002, and at said hearing the City Council denied the approval of a conditional <br />use permit in Zoning Case CU-068-012; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 27, 2002, at a regular meeting, the City Council granted a request by <br />AT & T to reconsider the approval ora conditional use permit in Zoning Case CU-068-012 due to the <br />changes and modifications made in said Zoning Case and set a public hearing for October 15, 2002; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council conducted apublic hearing on October 15, 2002, to consider the <br />approval of a conditional use permit in Zoning Case CU-068-012 to construct a regional and staging <br />facility consisting of an 89-foot high radio tower with ten (10) microwave dishes and a 529 square- <br />foot prefabricated equipment shelter on the property located at 4135 Garner Road, in the M-1 Light <br />Manufacturing Zone. <br /> <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900 Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909) 826-5567 <br /> <br />23-1 <br /> <br /> <br />
