1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6'I <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />141 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19.. <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />271 <br />City Attorney's Office <br />3900 Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(909)782-5567 <br />N <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-3 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES OF <br />THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING <br />SUBSTITUTE INCREASES IN THE ELECTRIC RATES OF THE <br />CITY'S ELECTRIC UTILITY, MAKING RELATED FINDINGS <br />OF FACT, AND RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL <br />THEREOF. <br />WHEREAS during its regular meeting on July 2, 1993 <br />and pursuant to the provisions of Section 1202(e) of the City <br />Charter, the Board of Public Utilities of the City of <br />Riverside ("this Board") adopted its Resolution No. 93-2 <br />approving and establishing increases in the electric rates of <br />the City's Electric Utility in order to equal the increased <br />costs of operations resulting from the action of the City <br />Council increasing the General Fund Transfer amount under <br />Section 1204(f) of the City Charter to 11.5t; and <br />WHEREAS during their regular meeting on July 13, <br />1993, the City Council's adoption of a resolution approving <br />those rate increases was vetoed by the Mayor, and the City <br />Council thereupon remanded the matter of establishing <br />substitute rate increases to this Board with a request to <br />establish new rates which result in an overall rate increase <br />of only 1.4%- in anticipation of action by the City Council to <br />reduce the amount of the General Fund Transfer <br />proportionately; and <br />WHEREAS during its regular meeting on July 20, 1993, <br />the City Council reduced the amount of the General Fund <br />Transfer amount from 11.51 to 10.5% effective as of July 1, <br />1993; and <br />F:\WPDATA\R£S\93134707.R5 <br />
