CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />December 14, 1999 <br /> <br />upheld the Commission's determination that the proposal would not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; concurred in the adoption of a Negative <br />Declaration; and determined that the proposed project could have the potential for <br />adverse effects on wildlife resources and the applicant is responsible for payment of <br />Fish and Game fees at the time the Notice of Determination is filed with the County. <br /> <br />CULTURAL HERITAGE BOARD <br /> <br />CASE CR-007-990 - 3452 UNIVERSITY (STRUCTURE OF MERIT NO. 263) <br />The City Council upheld the action of the Cultural Heritage Board in approving, <br />subject to conditions, the request of Havadja Holdings, Inc., for a Certificate of <br />Appropriateness to rehabilitate the Stewart Building located at 3452 University <br />Avenue, situated on the south side of University Avenue midway between Lemon <br />and Lime Streets within the City-designated Mission Inn Historic District (Structure <br />of Merit No. 263) including an Environmental Initial Study review for demolition of <br />the south portion of the building (APN 213-311-003); upheld the Board's <br />determination that the proposal would not have a significant effect on the <br />environment because mitigation measures are required; concurred in the adoption of <br />a Mitigated Negative Declaration; and determined that there is no evidence that the <br />proposed project will have any potential for adverse effects on wildlife resources and <br />the impacts of the proposed project are found to be de minimis pursuant to Section <br />711.4 of the Fish and Game Code. <br /> <br />CASE CR-010-990 - 4682 BANDINI (STRUCTURE OF MERIT NO. 22 1) <br />The City Council upheld the action of the Cultural Heritage Board in approving, <br />subject to conditions, the request of Paul Beecher for a Certificate of Appropriateness <br />to construct an auxiliary dwelling unit above a three-car garage at 4682 Bandini <br />Avenue (Structure of Merit No. 221), including an Environmental Initial Study <br />review for the demolition of a barn building (APN 218-112-010); upheld the Board's <br />determination that the proposal would not have a significant effect on the <br />environment because mitigation measures are required; concurred in the adoption of <br />a Mitigated Negative Declaration; and determined that there is no evidence that the <br />proposed project will have any potential for adverse effects on wildlife resources and <br />the impacts of the proposed project are found to be de minimis pursuant to Section <br />711.4 of the Fish and Game Code. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />ARLINGTON AVENUE UNDERPASS PROJECT SALE OF SURPLUS <br />PROPERTY - 3434 ARLINGTON <br />The City Council (1) declared the remnant parcel at 3434 Arlington Avenue (APN <br />229-140-001) to be surplus property relative to the Arlington Avenue Underpass <br />Project; (2) waived the usual competitive sale requirements for sale of City-owned <br />surplus property; (3) approved the sale of the property to Jerry Thompson for the <br />appraised fair market value of $300,000 conditioned upon demolition of the <br />structures on the neighboring property (J&J Autoworks); and (4) authorized the Real <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />B MD KC T P <br />E OE AL HE <br />AOF NI OA <br />T RE E F MR <br />Y E N F P S <br />B O S O <br /> A RON <br /> U D N <br /> G <br /> H <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />1 2 3 4 5 6 7 <br /> <br />85-167 <br /> <br /> <br />
