CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />December 7, 1999 <br /> <br />foot manufacturing and warehousing building at 800 Iowa Avenue, situated on the <br />noaheast comer of Iowa and Palmy~ta Avenues, in Zone MP-SP; upheld the <br />Commission's determination that the proposal would not have a significant effect on <br />the environment; concurred in the adoption of a Negative Declaration; and found <br />there is no evidence that the proposed project will have any potential for adverse <br />effect on wildlife resources and the impacts of the project are found to be de minimis <br />pursuant to Section 711.4 of the Fish and Game Code. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE MP-003-989 (REVISED) - 3625 PLACENTIA <br />The City Council upheld the Planning Commission's action in approving subject to <br />modified conditions the request of Southwest V-Ditch, Inc., for a revised industrial <br />plot plan consisting of an office/shop building on approximately 7.9 vacant acres at <br />3625 Placentia Lane, generally located on the northerly side of Placentia Lane, <br />westerly of North Orange Street, in Zone MP; upheld the Commission's <br />determination that the proposal would not have a significant effect on the <br />environment; concurred in the adoption of a Negative Declaration; found there is no <br />evidence that the proposed project will have any potential for adverse effect on <br />wildlife resources and the impacts of the project are found to be de minimis pursuant <br />to Section 711.4 of the Fish and Game Code. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />BID 5683 -UNDERGROUND-ELECTRICAL STRUCTURES <br />The City Council (1) awarded Bid 5683 to Hillside Contractors, Inc., in the amount <br />of $207,784 for the construction of underground electrical structures in Ransom <br />Place, Courtland Drive and Windemere Way, Arlington Avenue and Sunset Ranch <br />Road, and Century Avenue and West View Drive; and (2) authorized the execution <br />of the appropriate contract documents by the City Manager or his designee. <br /> <br />TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT CLAIM <br />The City Council authorized the Finance Director to (1) file the Transportation <br />Development Act (TDA) claim for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 in the amount of <br />$1,164,983 for the operation of the Special Transit Service Program, file the <br />Measure A claim for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 in the amount of $25,672 for the match <br />for the purchase of three vans for the Special Transit Service Program, and file the <br />State Transit Assistance claim for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 in the amount of $100,000 <br />for the operation and maintenance of the Riverside Transit Authority (RTA) bus <br />terminal; and (2) increase the estimated TDA claim for operation funding in the <br />Fiscal Year 1999-2000 Budget, Revenue Account 0000560-335912 from $1,228,806 <br />to $1,271,098 and decrease the estimated Dial-a-Ride Fare revenue for operations in <br />the Fiscal Year 1999-2000 Budget, Revenue Account 0000560-343530 from <br />$134,369 to $102,232. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE CU-058-989 - 3981 CHICAGO <br />The City Council (1) approved the request of Big Saver Foods for an extension of <br />time to June 22, 2000, in which to complete the parking lot improvements required <br />under Zoning Case CU-058-989 with the understanding that all previously approved <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />BMDKCTP <br />EOEALHE <br />AOFNIOA <br />TREEFMR <br />YEN FPS <br />B OSO <br />A RON <br />U DN <br />G <br />H <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />1234567 <br /> <br />85-157 <br /> <br /> <br />
