Minutes of: <br />Date of Meeting: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />November 23, 1999 <br />1:15 p.m. <br />Council Chamber, City Hall <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />BMDKCTP <br />EOEALHE <br />AOFNIOA <br />TREEFMR <br />YEN FPS <br />B OSO <br />A RON <br />U DN <br />G <br />H <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />I 2 3 4 5 6 7 <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />XXAXXXX <br /> <br />In the absence of Mayor Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tempore Kane called the meeting to <br />order at 1:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge entered the Council Chamber during the closed sessions. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSIONS <br />The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed <br />sessions pursuant to (1) Govemment Code §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive <br />advice from legal counsel concerning one case of existing litigation in which <br />disclosure would jeopardize existing settlement negotiations; and (2) Government <br />Code §54957.1 for a performance evaluation of the City Manager. <br /> <br />The Mayor and Councilmembers reconvened in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />PARKING, INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOP- <br />MENT AUTHORITIES <br />The City Council recessed for the purpose of sitting as the Parking Authority, the <br />Industrial Development Authority, and the Economic Development Authority. <br /> <br />Following adjoumment of the meetings, the body reconvened as the City Council. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AT 3 P.M. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE SP-003-990 - APPEAL - TRAUTWEIN - MISSION GROVE <br />SPECIFIC PLAN - CONTINUED <br />3 P.M.--Hearing was called on the appeal of John Canty of Canty Engineering <br />Group, Inc., from the decision of the Planning Commission in denying their request <br />to amend the Mission Grove Specific Plan by reducing the average landscaped <br />setback along the west side of Trautwein Road from 20 feet to 13 feet, and increasing <br />the building setback from 30 feet to 37 feet. At the appellant's request, the public <br />hearing was continued to December 14, 1999, at 2 p.m. <br /> <br />TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 28828 (REVISED) - APPEAL - WOOD AND <br />TRAUTWEIN - CONTINUED <br />3 P.M.--Heating was called on the appeal of John Canty of Canty Engineering <br />Group, Inc., from the decision of the Planning Commission in denying their proposal <br />to amend the conditions of approval for TM 28828, the approved subdivision of <br />64 acres into 166 residential lots at the northwesterly comer of Wood and Trautwein <br />Roads in the Mission Grove Specific Plan area in Zones R-l-80 and R-l-130. <br />Proposed revisions include reducing the landscaped parkway along Trautwein Road <br />from 20 to 13 feet, and increasing the required building setback along Trautwein <br />Road from 30 to 37 feet.
