<br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION

<br />A communication was presented from :he City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />A~ril 9, 1981, :he Commission considered the request of C. and M. Teal, Case
<br />PMW-60-801, to waive the filing of a parcel map to relocate the lot lines between
<br />:three parcels containing a single-family dwelling and vacant land situated northerly
<br />~of Carmine Street westerly of Linn Drive &nd on the westerly side of tlta Mira Way
<br />~(extended) in Zone RC. This adjustment would require variances for the creation of
<br />~two landlocked parcels, one parcel having substandard area and one parcel having
<br />~substandard lo~ width; and, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved, subject to
<br />:conditions, the staff recommendations, as follows: Lot B revised to hsve a minimum of
<br />'90 to 100 feet a= its narr~west width; Lone A and C combined into a single parcel for
<br />future division. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for
<br />[public hearing.

<br />PURCHASING SERVICES MANAGER

<br />fin consideration of the reco~mnendation from ~he Purchasing Services .Manager and the
<br />~Public Works Department, the bid of Riverside Construction Company, in the amount of
<br />~$~9,387.00, was accepted for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for :he
<br />,co snruction of Santa And River Bikeway Phase I, Fairmount Park to Mission Boulevard
<br />:( a Vista All other bids were rejected, and the bonds submitted with said

<br />Publl Utilities Department and =he Board of Public Utilities, :he bid of G. W. Rowe,
<br />~General Con=factor, im =he amount of $5,900.00, was accepned for furnishing all labor,
<br />,materials and equipment for the work of demolition of Blaine and Canyon Reservoirs.
<br />All other bids were rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected Bids were
<br />released from further liabili:y; =he City Attorney was requested to prepare the neces-
<br />sary con=tact; and execution of =he contract was authorized and directed upon approval
<br />by the City Attorney of the required performance bonds.

<br />BIDS - UTILITY BODY TRUCK WITH CRANE, COMPRESSOR AND INSTALLATION OF GATE TURNER
<br />In consideration of the recou~mendation from the Purchasing Services Manager, the
<br />Public Utilities Department and the Board of Public Utilities, the bid of Ray Gaskin
<br />Service, in the amoun: of S45,i~2.78, was accepted for furnishing the Public Utilicies
<br />Department, Water Division, with one current model utility body truck with crane,
<br />compressor and insza!lation of gate turner, etc. All other bids were rejected; and
<br />the Purchasing Services Manager was authorized to proceed with the purchase by Purchase
<br />Order.

<br />BIDS - CONSTRUCTION OF MOCKINGBIRD FEEDER EXTENSION - FUND TRANSFER
<br />Xin consideration of the recommendation from =he Purchasing Services .Manager, the
<br />~Public Utilities Department and the Board of Public Utilities, the bid of Channel
<br />~Constructors, Inc., in ~he amount of $1,515,302.00, was accepted for furnishing all
<br />~labor, materials and equipment for :he construction of Mockingbird Feeder Extension.
