<br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Co~mnission advising that, on
<br /> March 19, 1981. the Co~m~ission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 1 no and 1 abstention, approved
<br /> subject to conditions the request of R. E. Pond, Zoning Case C-15-801, for a condi-
<br /> tional use permit to establish, operate and maintain a S0-space condominium mobile
<br /> home park along with recreational facilities on approximately g.7 acres of undeveloped
<br /> property situated on the southwesterly side of Pierce Street opposite tollerr Avenue,
<br /> in Zones R-1-65 and RA, tentatively approved for Zone R-1-65; and determined that the
<br /> proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined
<br /> that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br /> ~ A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising ,,
<br /> , that, on March 25, 1981, the Commission, by a unanimous vote, established the following ,,
<br /> i attendance guidelines for its members: In the event ~hat any member of the Environmen- ,,
<br /> , :el Protection Commission is absent without excuse for three consecutive meetings, or ,.
<br /> ~absent, regardless of excuse, for more than 50 percent of the meetings in one six-month ,
<br /> . period, the Commission may, upon a two-thirds majority vote of the Co~m___ission, recom-
<br /> s mend to the City Council that the member in question be removed from the Commission.
<br /> i The City Council concurred in the adoption of the guidelines as stated above.

<br /> :A communication was presented from the Design Review Board advising that, on April 8,
<br /> {1981, the Board, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the
<br /> :renderins submitted by the Boys Club, Case DR-149-g01, for the proposed mural to be
<br /> [painted on the southwest wall of the old Safeway building located on the east comer
<br /> ,of Market and Fifth Streets, being at 2450 Market Street, in Zone O, and requested
<br /> ,
<br /> :that the applicant poll the adjacent property owners regarding the mural prior to City
<br /> :Council consideration of the H~atter. It was determined that the City Council would
