<br /> The Minutes of the Meeting of April 7, 1981, were approved as submitted.
<br />
<br /> The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Marilou Foreberg representing the
<br /> La Sierra Chamber of Commerce.

<br /> The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br /> chose items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for
<br /> consideration.

<br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION

<br /> ZONING CASE MP-5-801 - LOMA LINDAUNIVERSITY - 11300 BLOCK PIERCE STREET
<br />A comnunication was presented from the City Planning Conmission advising that, on
<br />'March 5, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />conditions the proposal of the Loma Linda University, Zoning Case MP-5-801s to con-
<br />struct an industrial building on approximately 4.27 acres of vacant land located in
<br />the 11300 block of Pierce Street, situated on the southeasterly side of Pierce Street
<br />southwesterly of Golden Avenue, in Zone MP; and determin~d that the proposal would not
<br />have a significant adverse enviroameatal effect. It was determined that the City
<br />Council would not set the matter for review.

<br /> ZONING CASE M?-6-801 - AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PLAZA - 6421 CENTRAL AVENUE
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Conmnission advising that, on
<br />:March 19, 1981, the Conmission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />conditions the proposal of the Airport Industrial Plaza, Zoning Case MP-6-801, to
<br />construct an industrial building on approximately 1.Y& acres of vacant land located at
<br />6421 Central Avenue, situated on the northeasterly side of Central Avenue northwesterly
<br />of Fremont Street, in Zone MP; and determined that the proposal would not have a
<br />significant adverse envirommen=al effect. It was determined that the City Council
<br />would not set the matter for review.

<br /> ZONING CASE C-30-656 (REVISED) - CALVARY CHAPEL - 6115 ARLINGTON AVENUE
<br />;A communication was presented from ~he City Planning Comission advising ~hat, on
<br />:March 19, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> conditions =he request of Calvary Chapel, Z0ninS Case C-30-656 (Revised), for a revised
<br />conditional use permit no es~ablish~ operate and maintain a private elementary school
<br />iwithin existing church ~acilities for up to 100 children in kindergarten and grades
<br />one through three on property located at 6115 Arlington Avenue, situated on the north-
<br />easterly corner of Arlington Avenue and Nell Street, in Zone R-1-65; and determined
<br />that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was
<br />determined that the City Council would not set the matter for review.

<br /> ZONING CASE C-20-790 (REVISED) - J. R. SANOCKI - NLY. CORNER FOURTEENTH AND PARK
<br />!A communication was presented from the City Planning Conmission advising that, on
<br />March 19, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 5 ayes to 3 noes. approved subject to
<br />certain conditions the request of J. R. Sanocki, Zoning Case C-20-790 (Revised), for a
<br />revised conditional use permit to establish, operate and maintain an automobile service
<br />center on approximately .39 acre of vacant land located in the 2900 block of Fourteenth
<br />Street and the 4300 block of Park Avenue, situated on the northerly corner of Four-
<br />teenth Street and Park Avenue, in Zone C-2; and determined that the proposal would not
<br />~have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the City
<br />=Council would not set the matter for review.
