<br />A communication was presented from the CiCy Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />.March 5, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />conditions the proposed vacation of the unimproved portions of a future alley deeded
<br />and/or offered for dedication located at the rear of 7190, 7304, 7348, 7360, 7410 and
<br />'7438 Indiana Avenue, situated between Washington and ~adison Streets and northwesterly
<br />of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way, in Zones R-1-65, C-3 and
<br />'tentative C-3, Case VAC-15-801. The Public Works Department was requested co prepare
<br />=he necessary. legal description required in connection with the proposed vacation, and
<br />the City Attorney was authorized to prepare =he appropriate resolution for City Council
<br />consideration to set the matter for public hearing.

<br />;A conununication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising
<br />;that, on February 25, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes =o 0 noes, determined
<br />that the proposed grading plan for a single-family dwelling located at 9910 Cook
<br />Street would not have a significant adverse environmental effect, providing certain
<br />;mitigating measures are met, Case EPC-23-801. The Commission finding was upheld by
<br />the City Council.

<br /> CASE EPC-28-801 - PROPOSED GRADING PLAN - TIGER TAlL AND WHITEGATE
<br />;A communication was presented from =he Environmental Protection Co~unission advising
<br />,that, on February 25, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, determined
<br />,chat the proposed grading plan for Tract 8337, a ~roposal to divide approximately
<br />;29.85 acres of land into 34 Single-family lots situated on the southeasterly comer of
<br />~Tiger Tail Drive and Whltegate Avenue, in Zones R-1-130 and RC-2, would not have a
<br />,significant adverse environmental effect, providing certain mitigating measures are
<br />~met, Case EPC-28-801. The Commission finding was upheld by the City Council.

<br />CASE EPC-29-801 - PHASE I, PROPOSED VAN BUREN FEEDER
<br />A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising
<br />that, on February 25, 1981, the Conznission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 1 no, determined
<br />that Phase I of the proposed Van Buren feeder, a 6,500-foot water transmission line
<br />extending between the Mockingbird Booster Station and Dufferin Avenue, would not have
<br />a significant adverse environmental effect, Case EPC-29-801. The Commission finding
<br />was upheld by the City Council.
