Motion X, <br /> Second ,X, <br /> All Ayes <br /> <br />~The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Bobbie Mays representing the <br />iArlington Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />iCouncilman Shepard entered at this time. ~Xi <br /> <br />~CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br />consideration with the following exceptions: Zoning Case V-78-801 was set for public <br />hearing; adoption of Caae VAC-14-790, Tract 7924, Tract 8435 and the resolution accept- <br />ing a barrier strip relating to Tract 8435 were added and approved; the report relative <br />=o Palo Verde water power project was removed to the Discussion Calendar; and the Motion ~X <br />report regarding the cost to re-energize street lights was referred to the Board of Second <br />Public Utilities. All Ayes <br /> <br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> CASE VAC-12-801 - ALLEY LOCATED AT REAR OF 1785 AND 1795 ENTERPRISE AND 1784 AND <br /> 1794 OHIO <br />A con~nunication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />~[ebruary 19, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />~conditions the proposed vacation of an approximately 100-foot-long by 20-foot-wide <br />~portion of an alley located at the rear of 1785 and 1795 Enterprise Avenue and 1784 <br /> ~and <br /> ~ 1794 Ohio Avenue in Zone R-1-65, Case VAC-12-801. The Public Works Department was <br />~requested to prepare the necessary legal description required in connection with the <br />=proposed vacation, and the City Attorney was authorized to prepare the appropriate <br />resolution for City Council consideration to set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br /> ~BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br /> ~ZONING CASE V-78-801 - W. N. AND S. SKLAR - 2900 BLOCK SEVENTH - SET FOR HEARING <br /> ~A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on <br /> JFebruary 2, 1981, the Board, contrary to the Planning Depar~men~'s recommendation, and <br /> Iby a vote of 8 ayes =o 0 noes, approved subject to conditions the request of W. N. and <br /> ~S. Sklar, Zoning Case V-78-801, for a variance to provide a 5-foot landscaped front <br /> ,yard setback where 20 feet is required and to locate parking within the required 20- ., <br /> ~oot front yard setback on property locaned in the 2900 block of Seventh Street, <br /> ~situated on =he southwesterly side of Seventh Street northwesterly of Park Avenue, in <br /> =Zones M-2 and R-3, tentatively approved for Zone M-l; and determined that the proposed <br /> ~variance would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. As a matter of <br /> ~information, the previously-requested variance to provide a 20-foot side yard setback <br /> ~here a 50-foot setback is required was denied. It was determined that the matter <br /> ~would be set for public hearing by the City Council on April 7, 1981, at 1:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> ~ZONING CASE V-91-801 - WARMINGTON DEVELOPMENT, INC. - MAGNOLIA AND TYLER <br /> ~A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that. on <br /> ~February 18, 1981, the Board considered the request of Warmington Development, Inc., <br /> =Zoning Case V-91-801, for clarification of the conditions of approval for a freestand- <br /> ~ing theater sign having 144 square feet in area and 19 feet in overall height in the <br /> Ishopping center located on the easterly corner of Magnolia Avenue and Tyler Street <br /> <br />66-388 <br /> <br /> <br />
