<br /> ZONING CASE V-125-801 - DICK CEPEK, INC. - 6614 INDIANA AVENUE - SET FOR HEARING
<br />A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on
<br />;January 19, 1981, the Board considered the request of Dick Cepek, Inc., for a variance
<br />,to erect a freestanding identification sign approximately 65 square feet in area and
<br />34½ feet in overall height where a maximum of 33 square feet in area and 35 feet in
<br />}height is permitted on property situated on the southeasterly side of Indiana Avenue
<br />southwesterly of Arlington Avenue, being at 6614 Indiana Avenue, in Zone C-3 and, by
<br />a vote of 7 ayes to 1 no, contrary to the Planning Department's recommendation, ap-
<br />,proved subJect to conditions a variance for a 60-square-foot area freestanding identi-
<br />fication sign with an overall height of 35 fact, where a 33-square-foot area by 35-
<br />foot overall height sign is permitted. It was determined that the matter would be set
<br />for public hearing by the City Council on February 24, 1981, at 3 p.m.

<br />ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION
<br />
<br />CASE EPC-20-801 - CONSTRUCTION OF ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION LINES & TWO NEW WOOD POLES
<br />A conmunication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising
<br />that, on January 14, 1981, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, determined
<br />that the proposed construction of a 69K~7 electrical transmission line on existing wood
<br />poles from the old City limits line on North Main Street to the Riverside Substation
<br />located at the southwesterly corner of Vine and Ninth Streets, and the construction of
<br />two new wood poles at the Mr. View Substation located at the northwesterly corner of
<br />Mr. View Avenue and the Union Pacific Railroad, Case EPC-20-801, would not have a
<br />significant adverse effect on the environment. The Commission finding was upheld by
<br />the City Council.

<br />~A communication was presented from the Planning Department recommending that the City
<br />]Council approve a final time extension to July 9, 1981, for Case PS-52-789, the pro-
<br />~posad division of approximately one acre of land into three lots situated on the
<br />~southeasterly side of Grand Avenue northeasterly of Ainsworth Place in Zone R-1-65;
<br />~whereupon, the recommendation was approved, and the City Council extended the final
<br />iexpiration date to July 9, 1981.

<br />~CASE PS-64-789 (PARCEL MAP 9386) - SLY. CORNER VICTORIA & ANNA - TIME EXTENSION ON RDP
<br />[A communication was presented from the Planning Department recommending that the City
<br />~Council approve a final time extension to July 12, 1981, for Case PS-64-789 (Parcel
<br />~Map 9386), the proposed division of approximately 8.8 acres of land into three lots
<br />~situated on the southerly corner of Victoria Avenue and Anna Street in Zone
<br />~R-lo130; whereupon, the recommendation was approved, and the City Council extended the
<br /> final expiration date to July 12, 1981.

<br />~A con~nunication was presented from the Planning Department recommending that the City
<br />~Council approve a final time extension to July 19, 1981, for Case PS-86-789 (Parcel
<br />~Map 10248), the proposed division of approximately 2.22 acres of land into three lots
<br />[situated on the southeasterly side of Campbell Avenue southwesterly of Mitchell Avenue
<br />[in Zones R-1-65-RL; whereupon, the recommendation was approved, and the City Council
<br />[extended the final expiration date to July 19, 1981.

<br />~A communication was presented from the,Planning Department recommending that the City
<br />~Council approve a final time extension to July 19, 1981, for Case PS-108-789 (Parcel
<br />~Map 11299), the proposed division of approximately .44 acre of land into two lots
<br />~situated on the northwesterly corner of Tequesquite and Palm Avenues in Zone R-1-65;
<br />~whereupon, the recommendation was approved, and the City Council extended the final
<br />expiration date to July 19, 1981,
