<br />
<br /> The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Dickey DeLoss representing the
<br /> Riverside Chamber of Co~nerce and Vera Baumgartner representing the La Sierra Chamber
<br /> of Commerce.

<br /> CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to Motion ~X[
<br /> those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for Second
<br /> consideration, except Zoning Case V-125-801 which was set for public hearing. All Ayes

<br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION

<br />ZONING CASE C-32-712 (REVISED) - PIERCE BET. RALEY & CARMINE - LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY
<br />;A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />;January 8, 1981, the Commission. by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />,conditions the request of Loma Linda University, Zoning Case C-32-712 (Revised), for a
<br />;revised conditional use permit to expand an existing administration building with the
<br />iaddition of a records storage vault and to construct a new building to be utilized for
<br />storage and processing animals for the university museum within that portion of the
<br />]Loma Linda University campus situated on the westerly side of Pierce Street between
<br />~Raley Drive and Carmine Street in Zone RA; and determined that the proposal would not
<br />[have a significant adverse effect on the environment. It was determined that the
<br />,matter would not be set for review by the City Council.

<br /> CASE VAC-11-801 - PORTIONS OF FUTURE ALLEY AT PEAR OF 6956, 6968, 7028 & 7072 INDIANA
<br /> A con~nunication was presented from the City Planning Co~ission advising that, on
<br /> January 22, 1981, the Co~nission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> conditions the proposal of Stephen G. DeGennaro, Case VAC-11-801, to vacate the unim-
<br /> proved portions of a future alley offered for dedication at the rear of 6956, 6968,
<br /> 7028 and 7072 Indiana Avenue, between Washington and Mary Streets and northwesterly of
<br /> the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way, in Zones R-1-65 and C-2.
<br /> The Public Works Department was requested to prepare the necessary legal description
<br /> required in connection with the proposed vacation, and the City Attorney was authorized
<br /> to prepare the appropriate resolution for City Council consideration to set the matter
<br /> for public hearing.

<br />'ZONING CASE C-22-634 - NORTH HIGH SCHOOL - CHICAGO BET. THIRD & LINDEN
<br />'A co~unication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />;January 22, 1981, the Commission reconsidered the conditional use permit for North

<br />, g School, Zoning Case C-22-634, with regard to the animal-keeping facility operated
<br />,~n conjunction with the existing vocational agricultural program on property situated
<br />,on the easterly side of Chicago Avenue between Third and Linden Streets, in Zones
<br />~R-1-65 and R-3 and, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved the 20 animal units
<br />,concept as recommended and contained in the Commission minutes. It was determined
<br />~that the matter would not be set for review by the City Council.

<br />,A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on
<br />iJanuary 19, 1981, the Board, by a vote of 6 ayes to 1 no, approved subject to condi-
<br />~tions the request of JMH Incorporated, Zoning Case V-123-801, for a minor variance to
<br />:construct two single-family dwellings which encroach up to approximately 14 feet into
<br />'the required 25-foot side yard setbacks, up to 5 feet into the required 30-foot front
<br />'yard setbacks, and contain two stories up to approximately 24 feet in height where one
