Motion X~ , Second , Not Voting ,X, :The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Fred Roevet representing the ,Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Don Pulaifer representing the Arlington Chamber of ~Commerce and Tom Clemens representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce. ~CONSIDERATION OF ITeM OUT OF ORDER ON THE PRINTED AGENDA .PROPOSED CLOSURE OF FAIRMOUNT PARK GOLF COURSE - REFERRED TO PARK AND RECREATION CORM. ,With cons.n= of the City Council, consideration was given =he report from =he City Manager recommending that the City Council au=horize the closure of Fairmount Park Golf ' Course, and the Assistant City Manager answered questions of the City Council. In~er- ' ested persons present spoke in opposition to the proposed closure of the Golf Course. Motion Following discussion, the matter was referred to the Park and Recreation Commission for Second ~X~ fur=her review, with a report to be presented to ~he City Council on February 17, 1981. All Ayes CONSENT CALENDAR 'The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to ~=hose items listed on =he Consent Calendar and as submitted to =he City Council for Motion ~consideration with the exception of the reports relative to street banners and Second ~X' [Administrative Manual update, both of which were removed to the Discussion Calendar. All Ayes ~ PLANNING DEPARTMENT 'CASE PS-55-789 (PARCEL MAP 10589) - CAMPBELL & JONES - TIME EXTENSION ON RDP [A communication was presented from the Planning Department recom~ending that =he City Council approve a final time extension to July 9, 1981, for Case PS-55-789 (Parcel Map 10589), the proposed division of approximately 1.45 acres of land into four lots situated on the northwesterly corner of Campbell and Jones Avenues in Zones R-i-65-RL; ;whereupon, the recommendation was approved, and the City Council extended the final ,expiration date to July 9, 1981. ~CASE PS-63-789 (PARCEL MAP 9407) - CAMPBELL & STOVER - TIME EXTENSION ON RDP ~A communication was presented from the Planning Department reco~ending that the City Council approve a final time extension to July 9, 1981, for Case PS-63-789 (Parcel Map 9407), =he proposed division of approximately 2.03 acres of land into four lots situ- ated on ~he northwesterly corner of Campbell and S~over Avenues in Zones R-1-65-RL; ~whereupon, the recommendation was approved, and the City Council extended the final expiration date to July 9, 1981. OF ARLINGTON - TIME EXTEK. 0N RDP A communication was presented from the Planning Department recommending that the City Council approve a final time extension to July 12, 1981, for Case PS-80-789 (Parcel Map 10010), =he proposed division of approximately 2.11 acres of land into four lots situated on the westerly side of Chadbourns Avenue southerly of Arlington Avenue in Zones R-1-65-KL; whereupon, the recommendation was approved, and the City Council extended the final expiration date to July 12, 1981. OF WELLS - TIME EXTENSION ON RDP A communication was presented from the Planning Department recommending that the City Council approve a final time extension to July 19, 1981, for Case PS-101-789 (Parcel [Map 10930), the proposed division of approximately 1.84 acres of land into three lots ~situated on the southwesterly side of Crest Avenue southeasterly of Wells Avenue in ~Zone RC-2; whereupon, the recommendation was approved, and the City Council extended ,the final expiration date to July 19, 1981. 66-316
