Fire Chief Bosted stated that Mr. Pellegrini will be <br />nominated for the California State Firemen's Association Valor Award for 1982. <br /> <br />Chief Bosted presented a Plaque to the Mayor as a testimony of gratitude to the City <br />:of Riverside regarding a fire engine recently delivered to the City of Cuautla; and <br />ipresented a gift from the citizens of Cuautla to the City Council. <br />, <br />:Mayor Brown presented a proclamation to Fran Lowry with regard to Good Will Week. <br />, <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br />:The following items were approved by one motion affirming ~he actions appropriate to <br />:those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br />:consideration, with the exception of Zoning Case C-17-812, municipal parking facili- <br />:ties, conversion of full-time positions to part-time positions in the Library Depart- <br />:ment, Risk Management Study, Eastside Multipurpose Social Service Center and annual <br />,weed abatement contract extension. all of which were removed to the Discussion <br />iCalendar. <br /> <br />iCITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />iCASE MP-8-812 - S. CARDELUCCI, ET AL. - NELY. CORNER JURUPA AND PAYTON <br />iA communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />April 8, 1982. the Commission. by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />conditions the proposal of S. Cardelucci, etal.. Case MP-8-812, to construct an <br />~industrial building and related truck maintenance yard area on approximately two acres <br />iof vacant land located in the 7100 block of 3urupa Avenue, situated on the northeast- <br />erly corner of Jurupa and Payton Avenues, in Zone MP, tentatively approved for Zones MP <br />and M-l; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environ- <br />mental effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for <br />;public hearing. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE C-30-656 (REVISED) - CALVARY CHAPEL - 6115 ARLINGTON AVENUE <br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Co~ission advising that, on <br />April 8, 1982, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes and 1 abstention, approved <br />subj oct to conditions the request of Calvary Chapel, Zoning Case C-30-656 (Revised), <br />for a revised conditional use permit to add additional commercial coach classrooms, to <br />increase the number of students in the private elementary school from 100 to 198 <br />students, and to offer additional grades four through six on property situated on the <br />northeasterly corner of Arlington Avenue and Nell Street, located at 6115 Arlington <br />~Avenue, in Zone R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant <br />~adverse environmental effect.
