Nejedly requesting a six-month <br /> ten of time to complete the off-site improvements required for Tract 14652, <br />lex slon <br />~ ated on Bluffs; together with a Memo from the Public Works Department <br />loc Boulder <br />}advising that this tract was adopted on May 26, 1981, and this is the first request <br />,for a time extension. Construction has started but is not complete. The Department <br />{has on file bonds and agreement in a sufficient amount to cover the installation of <br />~all required off-site improvements; and recommends that the City Council grant a <br />isix-month time extension to October 24, 1982; whereupon, the recommendation was <br />approved. <br /> <br />,PURCHASING SERVICES MANAGER <br /> <br />BID NO. 3390 - ANDREW STREET, PHASE II (SITE CLEARING) - HCD ARLINGTON AREA <br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager and the <br />Public Works Department, the bid of Paul's Tree Service, in the amount of $37,799.00, <br />was accepted for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the construction of <br />Andrew Street, Phase II (Site Clearing), an HCD Arlington area project, subject to HUD <br />approval. All other bids were rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected <br />bids were released from further liability; the City Attorney was requested to prepare <br />the necessary contract; and execution of the contract was authorized and directed upon <br />approval by the City Attorney of the required performance bonds. <br /> <br />BID NO. 3396 - FURNISH AND INSTALL AUTOMATION COMPUTER REPLACEMENT PER SPEC. NO. 400 <br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager, the <br />Public Utilities Department and the Board of Public Utilities, the bid of Data General <br />~Corporation, in the amount of $130,209.61 for base bid plus optional equipment 2.3, <br />~being the only bid received, was accepted for furnishing and installing automation <br />~computer replacement per Specification No. 400 for the Public Utilities Department, <br />~Water Operations Division. All other bids were rejected; and the Purchasing Services <br />!}~nager was authorized to proceed with the purchase by Purchase Order. <br />, <br />:BID NO. 3404 - ONE-HALF TON VAN WITH INTERIOR SERVICE PACKAGE <br />~in consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager, the <br />~Public Works Department and the Fleet Management Superintendent, the bid of Warren <br />~Anderson Ford, in the amount of $12,575.84 for Item No. 1, Specification No. 82-3404-A, <br />,was accepted for furnishing the Public Work~ Department, Sewerage Systems Division, <br />iwith one one-half ton van equipped with interior service package. All other bids were <br />,rejected; and the Purchasing Services Manager was authorized to proceed with the <br />purchase by Purchase Order. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCY RESERVE AND UNAPPROPRIATED SURPLUS <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Finance Director <br />presenting the status of the General Fund Contingency Reserve and Unappropriated <br />Surplus, as of February 16, 1982. The City Council accepted the report and ordered it <br />filed for record. <br /> <br /> SECOND ~{ENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR OPERATION OF GAGE CANAL FACILITIES - RIVERSIDE <br /> SPORTS COMPLEX - PHASE II <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Park and Recreation <br />Director, concurred in by the Public Utilities Director and the City Attorney, recom- <br />~mending that the City Council authorize execution of the Second Amendment to Agreement <br />~for Operation of Gage Canal Facilities providing that, in the event future repairs of <br />~the Gage Canal Pipeline are necessary, the City will pay all costs for removal and <br />~replacement of Riverside Sports Complex improvements within the canal right-of-way. <br />~The recommendation was approved as presented. <br /> <br />67-339 <br /> <br /> <br />
