<br />~Riverside Chamber of Commerce and Phil Osborn representing the La Sierra Chamber of

<br />CONSENT CALENUAR
<br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for
<br />consideration, with the exception of the cus=omer refund bill stuffer which was con-
<br />tinued to later today, and Cases PMW-27-812 and COC-5-812 and the report regarding
<br />appointment to the Economic Development Con~nittee, all of which were removed to the
<br />Discussion Calendar.

<br /> ZONING CASE C-1914 (REVISED) - THE DIOCESE OF SAN BERNA~RDINO (SAINT CATHERINE'S
<br /> CATHOLIC CHURCH) - 7050 BROCKTON AVENUE
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Comission advising that, on
<br />~February 4, 1982, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes and 1 abstention,
<br />~approved subject to conditions the request of The Diocese of San Bernardino (Saint
<br />~ therine ' s
<br />Ca Catholic Church), Zoning Case C-1914 (Revised), for a revised conditional
<br />,use permit to construct an addition to the existing church rectory and to add a carport
<br />'fo the rectory on the church property located at 7050 Brockton Avenue, situated on
<br />, r
<br />~the southeasterly corner of Arlington and Brockton Avenues, in Zone R-1-65; and
<br />,determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect.
<br />~It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />~TIME EXTENSION ON CO~]ITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-59-789
<br />~A communication was presented from Glenn W. Pratt, President, IPSCO, requesting a
<br />,two-year extension of time from February 20, 1982, in which to comple=e the conditions
<br />,of approval under Zoning Case R-59-789, being approximately 1.53 acres ~of land situated
<br />,on the northerly corner of Market and Northbend Streets, located in the 2500 block of
<br />Northbend Street and the 2500 block of Market Street. Petition for a zone change was
<br />granted on February 20, 1979, and this is the second request for a time extension.
<br /> The City Council granted the two-year time extension to February 20, 1984, as
<br /> requested.

<br /> TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-81-778
<br />A communication was presented from Marc F. McAlpine, Assistant ~irector, Land
<br />Development, The Robert P. Warmington Co., requesting a one-year time extension from
<br />May 8, 1982, in which to complete the conditions of approval under Zoning Case
<br />~R-81-778, being approximately 5.68 acres of land situated on the southeasterly side of
<br />~Magnolia Avenue and the southwesterly side of La Sierra Avenue, located at
<br />~11130 Magnolia Avenue. Petition for a zone change was granted on May 8, 1979, and
<br />~this is the second request for a time extension. The City Council granted the time
<br />~extension to May 8, 1983, as requested.
