All Ayes <br /> <br /> :BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br /> ~ZONING CASE V-73-812 - W. AND M. TRUJILLO - 6427 COLUMBUS AVEN~E <br />:A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on <br />:3anuary 18, 1982, the Board considered the request of W. and M. TruJillo, Zoning Case <br />:V-73-812, for the following variances on property situated on the northerly side of <br />:Columbus Avenue westerly of Ordway Street, located at 6427 Columbus Avenue, in Zone <br />:H-l: (1) deletion of restriction against locating an automobile impound yard within <br />:300 feet of any Manufacturing Park Zone; (2) deletion of the 20-foot-deep landscaped <br />:front yard setback; (3) provision of a six-foot-high chain link fence with redwood <br />:slats only along the front property line, where a six-foot-high chain link fence with <br />:redwood or simulated redwood slats and landscaped screening is required around all <br />:property lines; and (4) provision of a par~ially-unimproved and untreated surface area <br />:where slag, slate or alternate dust, weed and mud retardant material is required; and, <br />, y a vote of 4 ayes to 1 no, approved the staff recommendations, subject to certain <br />:conditions, as follows: (1) approval of locating the automobile impound yard within <br />:300 feet of Zone MP; (2) deletion of the 20-foot landscaped front yard; (3) six-foo~ <br />:fencing with redwood slats be required around all property lines; and (4) driveway <br />:areas shall be surfaced with slate, slag or alternate material within the impound <br />:yard; and determined that the variances would not have a significant adverse environ- <br />:mental effect. It was determined that the matter would not be set for public hearing <br />by the City Council. <br /> <br />:ZONING CASE V-82-812 - RIVERSIDE DENTAL GROUP - 7251 MAGNOLIA AVENUE <br />iA communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on <br />~January 18, 1982, the Board, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi- <br />tions the request of Riverside Dental Group, Zoning Case V-82-812, for a variance'to <br />erect a freestanding monument identification sign (1) containing approximately 2~.5 <br />,square feet of area and four feet in overall height, contrary to staff recommendations; <br />and (2) concurred with staff recommendation of placement of the sign within the planned <br />street line where a 15-square-foot in area, six feet in overall height identification <br />sign is allowed outside the planned street line on property situated on the northwest- <br />erly corner of Magnolia Avenue and E1 Hijo Street, located at 7251 Magnolia Avenue, in <br />Zone RO. It was determined that the matter would not be set for public hearing by the <br />City Council. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE V-83-812 - M. SEEGRAVES - 3323 AND 3331 EUCALYPTUS AVENUE <br />A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on <br />:January 18, 1982, the Board, by a vote of 5 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi- <br />:tions the request of M. Seegraves, Zoning Case V-83-812, for a variance to construct <br />'two three-unit apartment complexes having 23 feet of parking lot maneuvering area <br />:where 28 feet is required on property situated on the westerly side of Eucalyptus <br />:Avenue southerly of Third Street, located at 3323 and 3331 EucalyptUs Avenue, in Zone <br />*R-3.
