<br />A co~nunication was presented from Steven L. Ray, McCutchan-GFB, Inc., requesting a
<br />time extension to March 1, 1983, in which to complete the conditions of approval of
<br />Zonin~ Case R-72-767, being approximately ;wo acres of land situated on the southeast-
<br />erly side of Magnolia Avenue about 600 feet northeasterly of Monroe Street, located at
<br />8612 and 8614MagnoliaAvenue. Petition for a zone change was granted on April 19,
<br />1977; on March 25,' 1980, the City Council granted a time extension to March 1, 1982,
<br />to conform to the expiration of the sewer moratorium; and this is the second request
<br />for a time extension. The City Council granted the time extension to March 1, 1983,
<br />as requested.

<br />A communication was presented from Homero and Belinda Meruelo requesting a one-year
<br />time extension to February 5, 1983, in which to complete the conditions of approval of
<br />~Zoning Case R-55-790, being approximately 2.2 acres of land situated on the easterly
<br />~side of Van Buren Boulevard northerly of California Avenue, located in the 4300 and
<br />~4400 blocks of Van Burst Boulevard. Petition for a zone change was granted on Febru-
<br />~ary 5, 1980, and this is the first request for a time extension. The City Council
<br />:granted the time extension to February 5, 1983, as requested. ,

<br /> In consideration of the recommendation from the Public gorks Depar=ment, the
<br /> construction of Victorin Avenue storm drain participation with Tract 9218, located on
<br /> northbound Victoria Avenue at Rumsey Drive, by J. R. Construction, was accepted as
<br /> completed; and execution of the Notice of Completion was authorized and directed.

<br /> In consideration of the recommendation from the Public ~orks Depart-merit, the
<br /> construction of street resurfacing for 1981, Phase II fo~ seal, performed at various
<br /> locations throughout the City, by Redlands Paving, lnc., was accepted as completed;
<br /> and execution of the Notice of Completion was authorized and directed.
