All Ayes <br /> <br />An ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance of_the City of Riverside, California, Amending <br />Section 1.12.020 of the Riverside Municipal Code by Adding 'City of Riverside LAFC <br />81-41-5 (Annexation No. 52--Palmyrita-Gage II)' to the First Ward," was presented <br />and introduced. <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 14607 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br /> Withdrawing From the Highgrove Highway Lighting District in Accordance With the <br /> Provisions of Section 19290 of the Streets and Highways Code That Area Annexed to <br /> the City of Riverside as "City of Riverside LAFC 81-41-5 (Annexation No. 52-- <br /> Palmyritz-Gage II)," to become operative March 15, 1982, the effective date of <br /> Annexation No. 52--Palmyrite-Gage II, was presented; and the title having been <br /> read, and further reading waived by the unanimous consent of Councilmembers present, <br /> was adopted. <br /> <br />ZONING CASE R-21-812 - SWIY. OF BRADLEY AND ALESSANDRO - REZONING - ORDINANCE <br />!INTRODUCED <br />3:00 P.M.--Hearing was called on the proposal of the City of Riverside, Zoning Case <br />~R-21-812, to place the approximately 10.4 acres of vacant land situated southwesterly <br />of Bradley Street (Via Vista Drive) and Alessandro Boulevard in Zone WC and remove the <br />same from Zone RC. As heretofore directed by the City Council, the minutes of the <br />~City Planning Commission pertaining to this case are on file and are a part of the <br />~evidence submitted at this hearing, whether or not any portion thereof is r~ad or <br />~discussed. The communication from the City Planning Commission stated that the Commis- <br />~sion, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved Zone WC, subject to the following condi- <br />~tions: (1) There shall be a two-year time limit in which to satisfy the following <br />~conditions and finalize this action. If the zoning is not adopted within two years of <br />[the date of introduction of the ordinance, the action taken on this petition shall be <br />~void. A time extension of not more than one year may be requested of the City Council <br />]by letter. Such time extension request must be received by the City Clerk thirty days <br />iprior to the end of the two-year limit; and (2) Developer's engineer to provide the <br />.Public Works Department with a drainage study showing limits of 100-year storm flow <br />:prior to adoption of this zoning case; determined that the proposed rezoning would not <br />have a significant adverse environmental effect; and adopted the staff report and the <br />,environmental assessment as findings. The Planning Director presented departmental <br />irecommendations, together with maps of the area. No one was present wishing to speak <br />~on the matter. No written protests were presented. The hearing was officially closed. <br />{Zone WC was approved subject to the reco~m~ended conditions; it was deteruxined that the <br />{rezonins would not have a significant adverse environmental effect; the staff report <br />land the environmental assessment were adopted as findings: and the ordinance was <br /> introduced. <br /> <br />Councilman Shepard entered at this time. <br /> <br /> ZONING CASE R-22-812 - SWLY. SIDE OF TERMINUS OF PURDY, NLY. OF HOLE - REZONING - <br /> ORDINANCE INTRODUCED <br />3:00 P.M.--Hearing was called on the proposal of Riverside Joint Venture, et al., <br />Zoning Case R-22-812, to place the approximately .19 acre of vacant land situated on <br />~the southwesterly side of the terminus of Purdy Street, northerly of Hole Avenue, in <br />'Zone C-2 and remove the same from Zone R-1-65; with the City Council to also consider <br />=supplementing the requested zoning with Zones S and X. As heretofore directed by the <br />~City Council, the minutes of the City Planning Commission pertaining to this case are <br />~on file and are a part of the evidence submitted at this hearing, whether or not any <br />~portion thereof is read or discussed. The communication from the City Planning Commis- <br />[sionstated that the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved Zone P, <br />~subject to the following conditions: (1) There shall be a two-year time limit in <br />~which to satisfy the following conditions and finalize this action.
