<br />ZONING CASE V-18-823 - COAST FEDERAL SAVINGS - 3692 SUNNYSIDE DRIVE
<br />A comunication was presented from =he Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on
<br />August 2, 1982, the Board, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi-
<br />tions, contrary to the Planning Department's recommendation, the request of Coast
<br />Federal Savings, etal., Zoning Case V-18-823, for a variance for an approximately
<br />59-square-foot roof sign, to be placed on the roof with no intervening air space, with
<br />lettering limited to an area within 43 square feet, the lower 16 square feet left
<br />blank, and the elimination of the parking sign, on property at 3692 Sunnyside Drive,
<br />situated on the south side of Surmyside Drive westerly of De Anza Avenue, in Zone
<br />C-3. A 50-square-foot roof sign is allowed as a matter of right. It was determined
<br />that the matter would not be set for public hearing by the City Council.

<br />'ZONING CASE V-23-823 - TERRANOMICS - 10119 HOLE AVENUE
<br />'A communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on
<br />;August 2, 1982, the Board, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi-
<br />tions, contrary to the Planning Department's recommendation, the request of
<br />Terranomics, etal., Zoning Case V-23-823, for a variance to install a wall sign of
<br />,approximately 25 square feet in area where 19% square feet is allowed on property at
<br />10119 Hole Avenue, situated within a shopping center on the northeasterly side of Role
<br />;Avenue northwesterly of Magnolia Avenue, in Zone C-3. It was determined that the
<br />~matter would not be set for public hearing by the City Council.

<br />~ZONING CASE V-25-823 - RIVERSIDE NATIONAL BANK - 3400 BLOCK CENTRAL AVENUE
<br />iA communication was presented from the Board of Zoning Adjustment advising that, on
<br />iAugust 2, 1982, the Board, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to condi-
<br />itions the request of Riverside National Bank, Zoning Case V-25-823, for a variance to
<br />,construct an office building 45 feet in overall height where 30 feet in overall height
<br />,is permitted within the 3400 block of Central Avenue, situated on the southerly side
<br />iof Central Avenue easterly of Riverside Avenue, in Zone R-1-65--tentatively approved
<br />ifor Zones RO-S-1, RO-S-2 and RO. A maximum of two stories, as permitted by Zone S-2,
<br />,is proposed, with the increased height intended to add architectural interest. It was
<br />'determined that the matter would not be set for public hearing by the City Council.

<br />,TLME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-12-801
<br />,A communication was presented from Cormie DeRosa requesting a one-year time extension
<br />from October 28, 1982, in which to complete the conditions of approval under Zoning
<br />Case R-12-801, relating to two lots at 9114 and 9124 Sage Avenue. Petition for a zone
<br />change was granted on October 28, 1980, and this is the first request for a time
<br />extension. The time extension was granted to October 28, 1983, as requested.

<br />TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-18-789
<br />A communication was presented from Business Properties requesting a one-year time
<br />extension from October I0, 1982, in which to complete the conditions of approval under
<br />~Zoning Case R-18-789, relating to approximately 20 acres of land situated on the
<br />~southeasterly side of Magnolia Avenue southwesterly of Polk Street, located in the
<br />~10800 block of Magnolia Avenue. Petition for a zone change was granted on October 10,
<br />~1978, and this is the third request for a time extension. The time extension was
<br />~granted to October i0, 1983, as requested.

<br />~COMPLETION - WHITE PARK SECURITY LIGHTING - HCD PROJECT
<br />~In consideration of the recommendation from the Park and Recreation Department, the
<br />[installation of White Park security lighting, an HCD project, by Maco Services, Inc.,
<br />~'as accepted as completed; and execution of the Notice of Completion was authorized
<br />nd directed.
