MINUTES The Minutes of the Meeting of August 3, 1982, were approved as submitted. Mayor Brown presented to Joyce Rogers of the Riverside Chambers of Commerce A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Encouraging New 'Manufacturing Distribution and Commercial Facilities to Locate in the City of Riverside; whereupon, the resolution was adopted. Councilman Loveridge entered at this time. CONSENT CALENDAR The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for consideration, with the exception of street tree surety for planting by developers and ~Sycamore Canyon Specific Plan, both of which were removed to the Discussion Calendar. ~CITY PLANNING COMMISSION . , =ZONING CASE C-30-656 - HARVEST CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP - 6115-6183 ARLINGTON AVENUE ~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on ~July 22, 1982, the Commission considered the request of Harvest Christian Fellowship ~(formerly Calvary Chapel), Zoning Case C-30-656, for a review to determine if ~previously-approved conditions and requirements have been met at 6115-6183 Arlington =Avenue, situated on the north side of Arlington Avenue easterly of Nell Street, in ~Zone R-1-65; and, by a vote of g ayes to 0 noes, approved the conditional use permit ~subject to the staff-reco.~.ended.conditions. It was determined that the City Council iwould not set the matter for public hearing. ZONING CASE C-8-801 (REVISED) - S. DE GEI~NARO - 3199 VAN BUREN BOULEVARD ~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on [July 22, 1982, the Commission considered the request of S. DeGennaro, Zoning Case ~C-8-801 (Revised), for a revised conditional use permit to include an enclosed patio eto allow a game room for a fast food restaurant with a drive-through lane at ~3199 Van Burst Boulevard, situated on the northeasterly side of Van Burst Boulevard southeasterly of Indiana Avenue, in Zone M-i; and, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, ~approved the revised conditional use permit subject to the staff-recommended condi- ~tions; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environ- ,mental effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. ~EN~IRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION ~CASE EPC-I-823 - SPRINGBROOK WASH FLOOD CONTROL FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS - BETWEEN HALE ~qqD STRONG STREETS ~A communication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising [that, on July 14, 1982, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, determined that ~the proposed construction of improvements to the existing Springbrook Wash flood ~control facility between Hale and Strong Streets would not have a significant adverse ~environmen~al effect, Case EPC-1-823. The Commission's finding was upheld by the City ~Council. ~CASE EPC-4-823 - PROPOSED GRADING PLAN - 7207 LENOX AVENUE ~A co~m~unication was presented from the Environmental Protection Con~nission advising =~hat, on July 28, 1982, the Co~unission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, determined that ~the proposed grading plan for a single-family residence at 7207 Lenox Avenue, located ~on the north side of Lenox Avenue between Washington and Madison Streets, in Zone Motion Second All Ayes Motion Second All Ayes Motion Second All Ayes :x: iX 68-48
