<br /> ~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br /> ',March 3, 1983. the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> ~conditions the request of the Church of God of Prophecy, Zoning Case C-17-823 (Re-
<br /> ,vised), for a revised conditional use permit to expand a nonconforming church, by
<br /> ,constructing additional classrooms and church building with additional off-street
<br /> parking, on property situated on the southeasterly side of Diamond Street northeasterly
<br /> of Madison Street, located in the 7400 block of Diamond Street (existing church at
<br /> ,7442 Diamond Street), in Zone R-1-65; and determined that the proposal would not have
<br /> a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined that the City Council
<br /> would no= set the matter for public hearing.

<br /> ZONING CASE C-24-823 - PIONEER TAKE OUT RESTAURANT - SW. CORNER ARLINGTON AND VAN BUREN
<br /> A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />March 3, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes and 1 abstention, approved
<br />subject to conditions the request of Pioneer Take Out Restaurant, Zoning Case C-24-823,
<br />for a conditional use permit to construct and establish a fast food restaurant with
<br />drive-through lane within an existing shopping center located on the southwest corner
<br />~of Arlington Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard in Zone C-2; and determined that the
<br />~proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined
<br />~that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />:ZONING CASE C-25-823 - DR. OH, DVM, ET AL. - 5535 VAN BUREN
<br />~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />:March 3, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />~conditions the request of Dr. Oh, DVM, et el., Zoning Case C-25-g23, for a conditional
<br />~use permit to establish, operate and maintain a veterinary small animal hospital and
<br />[clinic within an established shopping center on property situated on the east side of
<br />~Van Buren Boulevard approximately 800 feet southerly of its intersection with Jackson
<br />~Street, located at 5535 Van Buran Boulevard, in Zone C-2; and determined that the
<br />~proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. It was determined
<br />:that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />~CASE VAC-14-823 - PORTION OF NINTH STREET F. ASTERLY OF OTTAWA
<br />~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />~March 17, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 9 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />.conditions the proposed vacation of access (street closure) of a portion of Ninth
<br />~Street easterly of Ottawa Avenue, Case VAC-14-823. The Public Works Department was
<br />,requested to furnish the necessary legal description required in connection with the
<br />proposed vacation, and =he City Attorney was authorized to prepare the appropriate
<br />,resolution for City Council consideration to set the matter for public hearing.

<br /> CASE VAC-16-823 - PORTION OF FILLMORE STREET
<br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />~March 17, 1983, the Co~nission. by a vote of 9 ayes to O noes, approved subject to
<br />~conditions the request of Riverside Business Center to vacate a ?or=ion of Fillmore
<br />~Street, approximately 330 feet long and 80 feet wide, situated southerly of the River-
<br />~side Freeway and extending to Queensborough Street, Case VAC-16-823. The Public Works
<br />~Department was requested to furnish the necessary legal description required in cormst-
<br />ation with the proposed vacation, and the City Attorney was authorized to prepare the
<br />]appropriate resolution for City Council consideration to set the matter for public
<br />~hearing.

<br />[CASE COC-12-823 - D. JOLLY, ET AL. - 3344 PACHAPPA HILL
<br />~A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />~March 17, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />~conditions the request of D. Jolly, et el., Case COC-12-823, for a certificate of
<br />~compliance to legalize two parcels containing approximately .5 and .3 acre of land
<br />ideveloped with single-family dwellings which have substandard area due to slope in
<br />,excess of 15 percent which requires two acres minimum lot area on property situated on
<br />~the southwesterly side of Pachappa Hill easterly of Pachappa Drive, located a~
<br />~3344 Pachappa Hill, in Zone RC. It was determined that the City Council would not set
<br />i~he matter for public hearing.
