Motion X, <br /> Second X: <br /> All Ayes <br />~The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Neal Weaver representing the <br />,Riverside Chamber of Commerce and Dennis Johnson representing the La Sierra Chamber of <br />,Commerce. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to <br /> those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to the City Council for <br /> consideration, with the exception of Zoning Case C-17-834, Case GP-7-834 and Zoning <br /> Case R-17-834, the proposed adoption of Zoning Case R-96-790 and Case GP-28-790, and Motion ~X~ <br /> the report relative to Riverside's Man-In-Washington, all of which were removed to the Second ~X] <br /> Discussion Calendar. All Ayes <br /> <br /> CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />CASE COC-7-834 - E. A. AND G. J. MEYER- 5282 KING - WAIVER OF OFF-SITE IMPROVEMENTS <br />A communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br />Dece~aber 22, 1983, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to <br />conditions the request of E. A. and G. J. Meyer, Case COC-7-834, for a certificate of <br />compliance to legalize a parcel developed with a dwelling on approximately .3 acre of <br />land situated on the east side of King Street northerly of Elsinore Road, located at <br />:5282 King Street, in Zone R-1-125. It was determined that the City Council would not <br />set the matter for public hearing. Further, a written report was submitted from the <br />:City Manager and the Public Works Director, concurred in by the Planning Director, <br /> ' g that the City Council waive the required off-site improvements for <br /> econunendln <br />:5282 King Street. The City Council approved the recommendation as presented. <br /> <br />:BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUS~ <br /> <br />:ZONING CASE V-75-834 - C. J. BONNER CORP. - EAST SIDE VAN BUREN NORTHERLY OF ARLINGTON <br />,A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning <br />{Adjustment advising that, on December 19, 1983, the Board considered the request of <br />!C. 3. Bonnet Corporation, Zoning Case V-75-834, for a variance to (a) establish a <br />,mini-warehouse which provides less than the required number of parking spaces; (b) in- <br />:stall a 120-square-foot, 20-foot-high double-faced freestanding sign where no free- <br />:standing sign is permitted: and (6 construct buildings which will encroach lS ~eet <br />mznto the required 15-foot rear yard setback, on the approximately 2.9 acres of vacant <br />!land situated on the east side of Van Buren Boulevard approximately 1,700 feet north- <br /> erly of Arlington Avenue, in Zone AIR; and, by a vote of 6 ayes to 1 no, approved (a) <br />,and (c) as presented, and approved (b) a freestanding sign not to exceed 100 square <br />,feet in area or 20 feet in overall height, all subject to certain conditions; and <br />!determined that the proposal would not have a significant adverse environmental effect. <br />It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br /> PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> TIME EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-84-767 <br />A communication was presented from Curtis F. Clark and Lem Pottsepp requesting a <br />one-year time extension from January 10, 1984, in which to complete the conditions of <br />approval under Zoning Case R-84-767, being property located at 5156 Tyler Street. <br />Petition for a zone change was granted on May 10, 1977; on March 27, 1979, the City <br />Council approved a time extension to the end of the sewer moratorium; and this is the <br />~third request for a time extension.
