All Ayes <br /> <br /> :CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> :ZONING CASE C-11-845 - MC DONALD'S - 3524-32 CENTRAL AND 3523-39 LAURA - DENIAL <br /> :A co~,nication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on <br /> Dece bet 20, 1984, the Co~m~Ission, by a vote of 6 ayes to 0 noes and I abstention, <br /> idenied the request of McDonald's Restaurant, Zoning Case C-11-845, for a conditional .... <br /> :use permit to establish a fast food drive-through restaurant on approxime=ely one <br /> :acre of land at 3524-32 Central Avenue and 3523-39 Laura Lane (developed with four <br /> :residences and detached garages), situated on the south side of Central Avenue and <br /> :the north side of Laura Lane westerly of Riverside Avenue, in Zone R-1-65. The City <br /> :Council upheld the Co~nission's action in denying the request for a conditional use <br /> :pemt; and determined that the matter would not be set for public hearing. , <br /> <br /> BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUSTMENT <br /> :ZONING CASE V-89-845 - CANYON CREST LIMITED, ET AL. - MASSACHUSETTS (EXTENDED) <br /> :WESTERLY OF MT. VEKNON <br /> |A connnunication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning <br /> ~AdJustment advising that, on December 17, 198&, =he Board, by a vote of 6 ayes to <br />~ noes, approved subject to conditions the request of Canyon Crest Limited, et el., <br />~Zoning Case V-89-8~5, for the following minor variances to construct a 20-lot single- <br />~fa~/ly residential subdivision, situated on the southerly side of Fassachusetts <br />~Avenue (extended) westerly of Mount Vernon Avenue, in Zones R-I-~ and RC: To permit <br />up ro 12 lots determined ~o be in Zone RC to (A) allow building heights of up to <br /> 25 feet where a maximum of 20 feet is permitted; (S) allow two s~ories where only one <br /> story is permitted; (C) alloy 10 homes to encroach 10 feet into the required <br /> front yard setbacks; (D) allow 12 homes to encroach up to 17% feet into =he required <br /> 25-foot side yard setbacks; and (E) allow one home to encroach 13 feet into the <br /> required 25-foot rear yard setback; and determined that che proposal would not have a <br /> sl~nificant adverse environmental effect.
