Petition for a zone change was granted on Janua~ 6, <br />~1981, and this is =ha third request for a time extansiom. ~a time extsnsion was <br />grated ~o Janua~ 6, 1986, ra=roactiv~ ~o Jan~ 6, 1985. <br /> <br />PURCHASING SERVICES MANAGER <br /> <br />BID N0. 3789 - HARRISON STREET WIDENING NORTH OF MAGNOLIA AVENUE, A HUD PROJECT <br />In consideration of the reco~nendation from the Purchasing Services Manager and the <br />Public Works Department, the bid of AAA Paving Company, in the amount of $25,117.25, <br />~was accepted for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for constructing <br />~Harrison Street widening from 250 feet to 700 feet north of Magnolia Avenue, a HUD <br />~project. All other bids were rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected <br />~bids were released from further liability; the City Attorney was requested to prepare <br />ithe necessary contract; and execution of the contract was authorized and directed <br />upon approval by the City Attorney of the required performance bonds. <br /> <br />iCITY MANAGER <br /> <br />TRANSFER STATION - REFERRED TO C0~NCIL CO~ITTEE <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and Assistant City Manager Wales <br />recommending that the City Council refer NEWC0's proposal for a transfer station to <br />the City Council Utility Services/Land Use/Energy Development Committee for a report <br />and recommendation, with the request that the Committee provide periodic progress <br />~reports on its deliberations. The reco~nendation was approved as presented. <br /> <br />~CITY STREET CLOCK <br />~A written report was submitted from the City Manager and Assistant City .Manager <br />~Wales, concurred in by the Planning Director and the Park and Recreation Director, <br />~recomending that the City Council authorize Mr. Kalincsak, owner of the Swiss Clock <br />~Shop, to install the City-c~vned dual dial street clock, at no cost to the City, in <br />~the parkway fronting 3688 Van Buren Boulevard. The reco-wendation was approved as <br />presented. <br /> <br />~I. S. PROPERTIES MULTIFAMILY MORTGAGE REVENUE BONDS - EXTENSION OF RESOLUTION OF INTEr1 <br />~A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Assistant to City Manager <br />recommending that the City Council adopt the resolution attached to the report excend- <br />~ing the terms of Resolution No. 15312 to September 20, 1985, to allow sufficient time <br />=to complete the sale of Mortgage Revenue Bonds for the 220-unit mulnifamily rental <br />~project being constructed by I. S. Properties at the northwest corner of Canyon Crest <br />ZDrive and Linden Street. The recommendation was approved as presented; and Resolution <br />~No. 15698 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Amending Resolu- <br />:=ion No. 15312 Pertaining to Financial Assistance for a Multifamily Housing Project <br />~Proposed by 1. S. Properties by Extending the Expiration Date, was presented; and the <br />~title having been read, and further reading waived by the unanimous consent of <br />:Councilmembers present, was adopted. <br /> <br />~MULTIFAMILY HOUSING MORTGAGE REVENUE BONDS - SETTING PUBLIC HEARING <br />[A written report was submitted from the City Manager aud the Assistant to City Manager <br />~recommending that the City Council establish Tuesday, May 7, 1985, at 1:30 p.m., as <br />~the date and time of the public hearing for the six multifamily rental housing proj- <br />,ects listed in the report; and authorize publication of the required Notice of Public <br />Nearing. The recommendation was approved as presented. <br /> <br />=AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRESS REPORT <br />=A written report was submitted from the City }~nager and the Assistant to City <br />:Manager/Co~mmnity Relations presenting the Affirmative Action Progress Report for the <br />~eriod January 1, 1985, through March 31, 1985.
