<br />The Minutes of the Meeting of April 2, 1985, were approved as submitted.
<br />
<br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of Jane Fornero representing the
<br />Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Howard Born representing the Arlington Chamber of
<br />Commerce, Bruce Duerfeldt representing the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce and Chuck
<br />Keating representing the Magnolia Center Chamber of Commerce.

<br />~CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />'The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions appropriate to
<br />~those items listed on the Consent Calendar and as submitted to =he City Council for
<br />=consideration, with the exception of the report regarding the Mall Tower Fountain
<br />~Clock, which was removed to the Discussion Calendar.

<br />=CITY PLANNING COMMISSION

<br />=ZONING CASE MP-1-723 (REVISED) - FLEETWOOD ENTERPRISES, INC. - 2970-90 MYERS STREET
<br />iA communication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />March 21, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />conditions the request of Fleetwood Enterprises, lnc., Zoning Case MP-1-723 (Revised),
<br />for a six-foot-high masonry wall within the front yard setback where a three-foot-
<br />high wall is permitted on approximately seven acres of land at 2970-90 Myers Street,
<br />situated on the southwest side of Myers Street northwesterly of Lincoln Avenue, in
<br />Zone MP. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public
<br />hearing.

<br />ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION COMMISSION

<br />CASE EPC-50-845 - PROPOSED PHASE II OF SANTA ANA RIVER BIKEWAY - C. J. CARLSON PARK
<br />WESTERLY OF MARTEAMC LEAN PARK
<br />;A commnication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising
<br />:that, on March 13, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes and 1 absten-
<br />[tion, determined that the proposal by the City of Riverside to construct Phase II of
<br />;the Santa Ana River Bikeway, generally extending from C. J. Carlson Park westerly of
<br />~Martha McLean Park, would not have a significant adverse environmental effect, Case
<br />~EPC-50-845. The Commission's finding was upheld by the City Council.

<br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
<br />
<br />COMPLETION - STREET RESUKFACING 1984 (MINOR STREET O~Y)
<br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Public Works Department, the work of
<br />street resurfacing 1984 (minor street overlay), at various locations throughout the
<br />City, by Fontana Paving, Inc., was accepted as completed; and execution of the
<br />Notice of Completion was authorized and directed.
<br />
<br />TRACT 19568 APPROVAL - EAST SIDE PIERCE NORTHWEST OF INDIANA
<br />The Letter of Credit of Provident Federal Savings Bank, in the amount of $462,950 to
<br />cover the faithful performance, and in the amount of $231,475 to cover the labor and
<br />;material requirements; together with the Agreement of Pierce Street II Associates,
<br />[Ltd., guaranteeing the completion of streets, curbs, gutters, and all other improve-
<br />,ments described on the Final Map of Tract 19568, located on the east side of Pierce
<br />lStreet northwest of Indiana Avenue, were approved and accepted.
