It was determined that the City <br />Council would not set the matter for public hearing. <br /> <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />~TLM~ EXTENSION ON CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL - ZONING CASE R-32-789 <br />;A communication was presented from John Jordan, Albert A. Webb Associates, on behalf <br />~of the property owner, requesting a retroactive time extension in which to complete <br />the conditions of approval under Zoning Case R-32-789, being approximately one acre <br />&of land situated on the southwesterly side of Tyler Street southeasterly of California <br />Avenue, located in the 4200 block of Tyler Street. Petition for a zone change was <br />granted on December 12, 1978, and this is the third request for a time extension. <br />,The time extension was granted to December 12, 1985, retroactive to December 12, <br /> 1982. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> COMPLETION - EMERGENCY STORM DRAIN REPAIR BETWEEN OLIVEWOOD AND LEMON <br />~In consideration of the recommendation from the Public Works Department, the work for <br />~the emergency repair of the storm drain located in the easement between 4465 Olivewood <br />Avenue and 4464 Lemon Street, by T. A. Rivard, Inc., was accepted as completed; and <br />execution of the Notice of Completion was authorized and directed. <br /> <br />~COMPLETION - NEBRASKA AVENUE STORM DRAIN, A HUD-FUNDED PROJECT <br />=In consideration of the recommendation from the Public Works Department, the work of <br />=constructing the Nebraska Avenue storm drain, a HUD-fuaded project, located on <br />~Nebraska Avenue from Easy Street easterly to the Flood Control Channel, by Riverside <br />Construction Company, was accepted as completed; and execution of the Notice of <br />Completion was authorized and directed. <br /> <br />PURCHASING SENVICES MANAGER <br /> <br />BID NO. 3762 - SEVENTH STREET LANDSCAPING (AHUD PROJECT) - FUND TRANSFER <br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager and the <br />Park and Recreation Department, the bid of William Murray General Engineering Contrac- <br />tor, in the amount of $35,000.00 for Bid Schedule I - Base Bid, plus Bid Sched- <br />ule II - Additive Bid, Item No. 2, was accepted for furnishing all labor, materials <br />~and equipment for the work of Seventh Street Landscaping, a HUD project. All other <br />~bids were rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected bids were released <br />~from further liability; the City Attorney was requested to prepare the necessary <br />~contract; and execution of the contract was authorized and directed upon approval by <br />~the City Attorney of the required performance bonds. Further, a written report was <br />~submitted from the City Manager and the Park and Recreation Director, concurred in by <br />[the Finance Director and the CDBG Program Administrator, recommending that the City <br />~Council transfer of $16,000.00 from the Jobs Bill Contingency Account <br />, approve the <br />,15-551-487 to the Seventh Street Landscaping Project Account 15-551-489 to provide <br />additional funds necessary for award of the project. The recommendation was approved <br />as presented. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br /> FIRST CITY PROPERTIES-VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT VENTURE - RESOLUTION OF INTENT CANCELLED <br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Assistant to City Manager <br />reco~nding that the City Council adopt the resolution attached to the report repeal- <br />~ing Resolution No. 15520, which had declared the City Council's intent to issue <br />~obligations to provide financing in connection with the multifamily housing project <br />~proposed to be located on Arlington Avenue west of Van Buren Boulevard; and authorize <br />~refunding of the $13,000 Application Fee to First City Properties, Inc. The recommen- <br />=dation was approved as presented; and Resolution No. 15677 of the City Council of the <br />~City of Riverside, California, Repealing Resolution No. 15520 Which Declared the <br />~Council's Intent to Issue Obligations to Provide Financing in Connection With the <br />iMultifamily Housing Project Proposed by First City-Village Development Corp.
