<br />The Minutes of the Meeting of February 26, 1985, were approved as submitted.
<br />
<br />The Chair recognized the presence in the audience of John Beal representing the
<br />Riverside Chamber of Commerce and the Riverside Downtown Association, Steve Parker
<br />representinS the La Sierra Chamber of Commerce and Sue Hitchell representing the
<br />ZMa~nolia Center Chamber of Co~mmrce.

<br />~Mayor Brown and Councilwoman Mansfield presented a Proclamation to Jane Block in
<br />~reco~nition of '~omen's History Week", March 3 through 9, 1985.

<br />A commmnication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />~February 7, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />Zconditions the request of P and J Development, Zoning Case PED-25-834 (Revised), to
<br />}revise the approved plot plan of a 145-unit planned residential development (19 cwo-
<br />~bedroom, 126 three-bedroom detached homes) together with parking end private end
<br />~co~non open space on approx~mstely 28.5 acres of land, a portion of which is developed;
<br />~with residences and the remainder vacant, situated on the north and south sides of
<br />~Collett Avenue (extended) westerly of Pierce Street, in Zones RA and R-1-65, tentative
<br />*Z R-1-65 under Zoning Case R-61-767; and determined that the proposal would not

<br />~February 7, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes Co 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />Zconditions the request of Patty Enter~rises, Zoning Case PRD-6-845, to establish a
<br />~58-unit planned residential development (44 two-bedroom, 14 three-bedroom apartments)
<br />:toEether ~ith parking and private and common open space on approximately four vacant
<br />=acres of land in the 4300 block of La Sierra Avenue, situated on the northeast side
<br />~of La Sierra Avenue northwesterly of Collect Avenue, in Zone R-1-65, tentative Zones
<br />~R-3-30-S-2 under Zoning Case R-20-845; and determined that the proposal would not
<br />~have a significant adverse effect on the environment. It was determined that the
<br />~City Council would not set the matter for public hearing.

<br />=CASE EPC-42-845 - PROPOSED GRADING PLAN - TENTATIVE TRACT 19568 - NORTHEASTERLY OF
<br />~PIERCE AND INDIANA
<br />,A coumunication was presented from the Environmental Protection Commission advising
<br />~that, on February 13, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 8 ayes to 0 noes, determined
<br />~that the proposed grading plan for Tentative Tract 19568, located northeasterly of
<br />~Pierce Street and Indiana Avenue, in Zone R-I-65, would not have a si~nificant adverse!
<br />~environmental effect, subject to certain mitigating measures, Case EPC-42-845. The
<br />~Commission's finding was upheld by the City Council.
