<br /> A communication was presented from the City Pla~ing Commission advising that, on
<br /> December 20, 1984, the Co-~,ission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> conditions the request of Rohr Industries, Inc., Zoning Case C-20-845, for a condi-
<br /> tional use permit to establish a co-generation facility to convert natural 8as into
<br /> electricity and steam for its own use and for sale of surplus power to the Public
<br /> Utilities Department ou approximately 75 acres of land, which is currently developed
<br /> ;with an industrial plant, at 8200 Arlington Avenue, situated on the south side of
<br /> iArlington Avenue westerly of Van Buren Boulevard; and determined that the proposal
<br /> iwould not have s siEnificant adverse environmental effect. The co-generation unit is
<br /> eto be located on the northeast corner of Cypress Avenue and Picket Street in Zone
<br /> }M-l. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public
<br /> hearing.

<br /> ~A co~mmnication was presented from the City Planning Cormmission advising that, on
<br /> ~December 20, 1984, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br /> ~conditions the industrial plot plan of Fleetwood Enterprises Corporation, Zoniu8 Case
<br /> ~MP-1-723 (Revised), consisting of a 16,000-square-foot shop addition, a 7'380'square-
<br /> }foot office, and a 1,760-square-foot automotive building on approximately seven acres
<br /> ~of land, which is developed with an existing industrial complex, at 2970 Myers
<br /> ~Street, situated on the southwesterly side of Myers Street northerly of the Riverside
<br /> ~Canal, in Zone MP; and determined that the proposal would not have a significant
<br /> ~adverse effect on the environment. It was determined that the City Council would not
<br /> ~set the matter for public hearin8.

<br /> conditions the request of B. C. tares, III, Zonin8 Case R-9-790, for a revised plot
<br /> ~plan consisting of an approximately 48,000-square-foot warehouse/office buildin~ and
<br /> incidental parking on approximately 4.45 vacant acres of land located in the
<br /> 1600 block of Third Street and the 3200 block of Chicago Avenue, situated at the
<br /> northeasterly corner of Third Street and Chicago Avenue, in Zones M-1 and ~C; and
<br /> determined that the proposal would no~ have a significant adverse environmental
<br /> effect. It was determined that the City Council would not set the matter for public
<br /> hearing.

<br />!CASE VAC-9-845 - EAST~OOD AND OHAHA ON~TEST SIDE OF ATLANTA NORTHERLY OF SPRUCE
<br />A co~nunication was presented from the City Planning Commission advising that, on
<br />|January 3, 1985, the Commission, by a vote of 7 ayes to 0 noes, approved subject to
<br />~conditions the vacation of Eastwood and Omaha Courts, situated on the west side of
<br />~Atlanta Street northerly of Spruce Street, Case VAC-9-845. The Public gorks Depart-
<br />{ment was requested to furnish the necessary legal description required in connection
<br />~with the proposed vacation, and the City Attorney was authorized to prepare the
<br />appropriate resolution for City Council consideration to set the matter for public
<br />zhearing.

<br />'BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS AND ZONING ADJUSTMENT

<br /> ZONING CASE V-100-845 - KAISER PERMANENTE, ET AL. - 3951 VAN BUREN
<br />A communication was presented from the Board of Administrative Appeals and Zoning
<br />Adjustment advising that, on January 7, 1985, the Board, by a vote of 8 ayes to
<br />0 noess approved subject to conditions the request of Kaiser Permanents, et al.,
<br />Zoning Case V-100-845, for the following variances to provide a pharmacy located
<br />outside the principal medical building during remodeling and enlargement of the
<br />=existing pharmacy at 3951 Van Burst Boulevard, situated on the northeasterly side of
<br />'Van Buren Boulevard between Garfield and Hayes Streets, in Zone RO: (A) to permit a
<br />~pharmacy to be located outside the main building; and (B) to permit a pharmacy to
<br />~exceed 400 square feet within the main building following remodeling of the existing
<br />~pharmacy and medical complex. It was determined that the City Council would not set
<br />~the matter for public hearing.
