<br />Resolution No. 16735 of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, Accepting
<br />the Official Map of Tract 19109, consisting of two sheets, being a subdivision of a por-
<br />tion of Lot 9 in Block 44 of the Lands of the Riverside Land and Irrigating Company as
<br />shown by map on file in Book 1 of Maps at Page 70 thereof, Records of San Bernard/no
<br />County, California, in Sec. 24, T.3 S., R.6 W., S.B.M.; together with the streets and
<br />easements as shown thereon; together with any variances as to lot area, building area or
<br />yard requirements approved by the Planning Commission; and authorizing the City Clerk to
<br />attest said Map, was presented; and the title having been read, and further reading
<br />waived by the unanimous consent of Councilmembers present, was adopted.

<br />ACCEPTING BARRIER STRIP - TRACT 19109 - WICKLOW - RESOLUTION ADOPTED
<br />Concurrent with approval of Tract 19109, Resolution No. 16736 of the City Council of the
<br />City of Riverside, California, Accepting a One-Foot Barrier Strip Within Tract No.
<br />19109-2 (Which Barrier Strip Adjoins Tract No. 19109) for Street Purposes to be Known as
<br />a Portion of Wicklow Drive, was presented; and the title having been read, and further
<br />reading waived by the unanimous consent of Councilmembers present, was adopted.

<br />PURCHASING SERVICES MANAGER
<br />
<br />BID NO. 4245 - TILDEN RESERVOIR REHABILITATION
<br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager, the Public
<br />Utilities Department and the Board of Public Utilities, the bid of J. Colon Sandblasting
<br />& Coatings, in the amount of ~56,285, was accepted for furnishing all labor, materials
<br />and equipment for the work of Tilden Reservoir rehabilitation. All other bids were re-
<br />jected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected bids were released from further lia-
<br />bility; the City Attorney was requested to prepare the necessary contract; and execution
<br />of the contract was authorized and directed upon approval by the City Attorney of the re-
<br />quired performance bonds.

<br />BID NO. 4249 - ADOBE-TOMLINSON SEWER REHABILITATION
<br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager and the Pub-
<br />lic Works Department, the bid of InsitufoTm, in the amount of ~25,800 for Alternate I,
<br />was accepted for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the work of Adobe Ave-
<br />nue-Tomlinson Avenue sewer rehabilitation. All other bids were rejected, and the bonds
<br />submitted with said rejected bids were released from further liability; the City Attor-
<br />ney was requested to prepare the necessary contract; and execution of the contract was
<br />authorized and directed upon approval by the City Attorney of the required performance
<br />bonds.

<br />BID NO. 4261 - 20-TON TILT-BED TRAILER - PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT, WATER DIVISION
<br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager, the Public
<br />Utilities Department, the Board of Public Utilities and the Fleet Management Superintend-
<br />ent, the bid of United Equipment Company, in the amount of ~13,741.84, was accepted for
<br />furnishing the Public Utilities Department, Water Division, with one current model 20-
<br />ton tilt-bed trailer. All other bids were rejected; and the Purchasing Services Manager
<br />was authorized to proceed with the purchase by Purchase Order.

<br />CITY'S AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN - ANN~AL REVIEW - SETTING PUBLIC HEARING
<br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Assistant to City Manager-
<br />Community Relations recommending that the City Council schedule a public hearing to re-
<br />view the City's Affirmative Action Plan for Tuesday, March 22, 1988, at 7 p.m. The rec-
<br />ommendation was approved as presented.
<br />
<br />BILLBOARD AT FIVE POINTS IN LA SIERRA
<br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Administrative Services Di-
<br />rector, concurred in by the City Attorney and the Planning Director, recommending that
<br />the City Council direct that no further action be taken to remove the advertising sign
<br />located on the westerly side of La Sierra Avenue approximately 100 feet north of the
<br />Five Points intersection. The recommendation was approved as presented.

<br />EASEMENT REALIGNMENT - L. A. WAINSCOTT - DEVELOPER OF PARCEL MAP 6856
<br />A written report was submitted from the City Manager and the Administrative Services Di-
<br />rector, concurred in by the City Attorney and the Public Utilities Director, recommend-
<br />ing that the City Council authorize the preparation and execution of documents necessary
<br />to realign the existing pipeline easement within Parcel Map 6856 in the City of Grand
<br />
