<br />(Which Barrier Strips Adjoin Tract No. 21638-5) for Street Purposes to be Known as Por-
<br />tions of Owari lane, Cole Avenue, Lambert Court, Fredonia Court and Middlefield Drive,
<br />was presented; and the title having been read, and further reading waived by the unani-
<br />mous consent of Councilmembers present, was adopted.

<br />The Faithful Performance Bond of. Ainslie Development, as principal, and CHIC Bonding
<br />and Insurance Company, as surety, in the mount of ~68,050; together srith the Labor and
<br />Material Bond, executed by the principal and surety as listed above, in the amount of
<br />$34,025; together with their Agreement gunranteeing the completion of streets, curbs,
<br />gutters, and all other improvements described on the Final Map of Tract 22591, located
<br />on the westerly side of Hadrick Avenue northerly of Hole Avenue, ware approved and ac-
<br />cepted.

<br />PURCHASING SERVICES ~LANAGER

<br />BID NO. 4224 - CAR AND TRUCK WASH SYSTEM
<br />In consideration of the recommendation from the Purchasing Services Manager and the Ad-
<br />ministrative Services Department, the bid of N/S Corporation, in the amount of
<br />J119,316.32, was accepted for providing and installing a conmartial quality car and
<br />truck wash system for the Administrative Services Department, Building Maintenance Divi-
<br />sion. All other bids ware rejected, and the bonds submitted with said rejected bids
<br />were released from further liability; the City Attorney was requested to prepare the
<br />necessary contract; and execution of the contract was authorized and directed upon ap-
<br />proval by the City Attorney of the required performance bends.

<br />BID NO. 4241 - FURNISH AND INSTALL SERVICE BODY ON VAN - PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT
<br />In consideration 'of the recommendation from the Purchaein~ Services MarEager, the Public
<br />Utilities Department, the Fleet Management Superintendent and the Board of Public Utili-
<br />ties, the bid of California Truck Equipment, Inc., in the amount of j11,619.72, was ac-
<br />cepted for furnishing and inntailing a service body on a van for the Public Utilities
<br />Department, Electric Division. All other bids were rejected; and the Purchasing
<br />Services Manager was authorized to proceed with the purchase by Purchase Order.
