CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />June 1, 1999 <br /> <br />the conveyance to the Redevelopment Agency of two surplus City-owned parcels of <br />land adjacent to the Riverside Freeway on the north side of Central Avenue at Neva <br />Place. <br /> <br />FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 TO 2002-03 CONGESTION MITIGATION AND AIR <br />QUALITY GRANT FUNDING <br />Following discussion, the City Council approved the City Council Transportation <br />Committee and staffs recommendation to approve the list of projects outlined in <br />the written staff report for application to the Riverside County Transportation <br />Commission (RCTC) for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 to 2002-03 Congestion Mitigation <br />and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant funding for the reduction of traffic congestion and <br />related air pollutant emissions. <br /> <br />METRO RIVERSIDE INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTER <br />Following discussion regarding the World Trade Center Association (WTCA) of <br />Los Angeles and Long Beach's proposed establishment of a Metro Riverside <br />International Trade Center (MRITC) in Riverside, a regional partnership of the <br />cities of Corona, Moreno Valley, and Riverside, the County of Riverside, and the <br />March Joint Powers Authority which will interact collaboratively with existing <br />international trade and service organizations, fostering partnerships and increased <br />services to businesses and public entities, the City Council (1) approved the City <br />Council Finance Committee's recommendation to approve the expenditure of <br />$20,000 ($10,000 from the Economic Development Tax Increment Fund and <br />$10,000 from the Economic Development Reserve Fund) for a Metro Riverside <br />International Trade Center; (2) requested that all of the contributors listed be <br />participative; (3) determined that March Air Reserve Base be included in the Free <br />Trade Zone; and (4) requested a one-year status report be presented prior to the <br />Fiscal Year 2000-2001 Budget process. <br /> <br />DAYTIME LOITERING BY MINORS REGULATIONS - ORD.
