Fred <br /> Cohen, CJC Design, representing the applicant, stated they were in <br /> agreement with staff recommended conditions. Comments from the <br /> audience: Larry Allen expressed his concerns regarding traffic, Arizona <br /> Middle School children's safety walking past this site, and the need for <br /> access to the facilities to the rear of the site by Cal-Trans, Rail Road, <br /> Flood Control and the City. With regard to the vacation of McMillan <br /> Street, Mr. Allen did not feel it should not be given away and the City <br /> should receive compensation for this portion of land. He stated this <br /> proposal was not the right fit for this corner. Following discussion, it was Motion X <br /> the Planning Commission's consensus that continued Planning Cases Second X <br /> P13-0967, P13-0968, P14-0341 and P14-0342 to the meeting of August All Ayes X X X X X X X X <br /> 7, 2014.
