2. Review of Human Resources Personnel Policies and Procedure Jeremy Hammond, Deputy Human Resources Director Deputy Human Resources Director Jeremy Hammond presented the Board with two(2) policies for review and approval. The policies presented were Life Insurance (V-8) and Hours of Work (I-4). Board Member Wrage motioned to accept the policies as presented, with a second by Vice-Chair Butler. The motioned passed unanimously. 3. Human Resources Director Updates Rhonda Strout, Human Resources Director Director Strout provided the Board with a verbal update regarding staffing changes in the Human Resources Department. Ms. Strout informed the Board that the Human Resources Department has hired an outside consultant to work with internal staff members to identify how employees want to see Human Resources thrive in the future. Human Resources Director Rhonda Strout informed the Board of the various wellness challenges that Your Health. Director Strout stated that union negotiations are still underway with SEIU and IBEW. 4. Discussion Regarding Human Resources Board Presentation to City Council Jeremy Hammond, Deputy Human Resources Director Deputy Human Resources Director Jeremy Hammond presented the Board with a draft of the PowerPoint Presentation that will be presented to the City Council on November 19, 2013. The Board requested that the presentation be brought back to the November meeting for a final review. 5.
