Section 2: On the basis of the evidence submitted by the Department of Public Utilities during the Board's public hearing, and during the Department staffs presentation, the Board hereby finds and determines that the proposed electric rate Schedule ED, Targeted Economic Development Rates, is for the purpose of increasing electric sales, jobs, and other tax revenues to the City of Riverside through strategic economic development. Section 3: The proposed electric rate Schedule ED, Targeted Economic Development Rates, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby established under and pursuant to Section 1202 (e) of the Charter of the City of Riverside, Califomia, and shall become effective upon approval by the City Council of the City of Riverside, California.
