2. Review of Human Resources Personnel Policies and Procedure — Jeremy Hammond, Deputy Human Resources Director • Deputy Human Resources Director Jeremy Hammond presented the Board with two (2) policies for review and approval. The policies presented were Customer Service Standards for Dress and Appearance Policy (IV-2) and Discipline (111-1). • Board Member Wrage motioned to accept the policies as presented, with a second by Vice-Chair Butler. The motioned passed unanimously. 3. Human Resources Director Updates - Jeremy Hammond, Deputy Human Resources Director • The HR Board received a comprehensive report and Deputy Human Resources Director Jeremy Hammond provided the HR Board with a verbal overview of EEO statistics regarding Citywide- Permanent, Executive, Management I and Management 11 employees. The data compared 2005, 2010, 2012 and 2013. • Deputy Director Hammond provided the Board with a copy of the 2nd quarter 2013 Employee Separation Statistics for review. • Employee Relations Officer Steven Espinoza provided a handout and review of the second quarter 2013 Labor and Employee Relations statistics. 4. Discussion Regarding Human Resources Board Presentation to City Council — Jeremy Hammond, Deputy Human Resources Director • Deputy Human Resources Director Jeremy Hammond presented the Board with a copy of the draft PowerPoint presentation that will be presented to the City Council. • Mr. Hammond informed the Board that the presentation will take place at 6:15 p.m. on November 19, 2013 in the Art Pick Council Chambers and encouraged Board Members to attend the meeting. 5. Future Discussion Items — Art Butler, Vice-Chair • Vice-Chair Art Butler requested a copy of the WRIT that was submitted by Jason Hunter. • Next Meeting: October 7, 2013, City Hall 2nd floor conference room at 4:00 p.m. Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 4:50 p.m. by Vice-Chair Art Butler.
