The estimated cost to implement the proposed reconfiguration of the Community <br /> Development Department by G/M Business Interiors is $64,669.53. <br /> The furniture and workstations currently installed in Community Development (third floor) are <br /> made by Herman Miller. For continuity, Herman Miller systems furniture is being recommended <br /> to allow for possible reconfigurations between work groups. G/M Business Interiors of <br /> Riverside, CA is the authorized Herman Miller furniture distributor in this region. <br /> G/M Business Interiors of Riverside, CA has agreed to furnish and reconfigure the project <br /> furniture in accordance with the competitively bid County of Riverside furniture contract <br /> #A52075 pricing in an amount not to exceed $64,669.53, including all furniture and parts, <br /> delivery, installation and taxes. Purchasing Resolution 21185, Section 201(h) states that <br /> competitive procurement shall not be required when goods or services can be obtained through <br /> Federal, State, and/or other public entity pricing or price agreements. The Purchasing Services <br /> Manager agrees with the recommendation above. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> Funding for the project is included in the FY 2012-13 Adopted Budget. Specifically, $41,000 is <br /> included in account 2805000-421000, Professional Services and $23,669.53 is included in <br /> account number 2800001-421000, Professional Services.
