Establishment of Speed Limit Zone on Arlington Avenue-Ordinance 'Page 2 <br /> conditions including curvilinear alignment, limited sight distance, dirt shoulder, and unexpected <br /> pedestrian and bicyclist activity, the Public Works Department is recommending establishment of a <br /> 40 MPH speed limit for this stretch of roadway. The segment between Adams Street and La Sierra <br /> Avenue would retain the existing 45 MPH speed limit. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> The cost of sign removal and installation is nominal.
