The Report more fully details the improvements and activities which shall be <br />provided, as well as the proposed assessments to be levied, for the calendar year beginning <br />January 1, 2012, all of which shall provide specific benefits to each and every business within <br />the Area at a cost which does not exceed the reasonable cost in providing the benefits. The <br />report is on file with the City Clerk. <br />5. Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a public hearing on the levy <br />of the proposed assessment for the calendar year of 2012 on November 15, 2011, at the hour of <br />3:00 p.m. at the regular meeting of the City Council to be held at the regular place of meeting at <br />said time in the Council Chambers at the Riverside City Hall at 3900 Main Street in the City of <br />Riverside, California. Any protests or objections to the proposed levy of assessment may be <br />made orally or in writing by any interested person. However, the form and manner of such <br />protests or objections shall comply with Section 36524 and 36525 of the California Streets and <br />Highways Code. <br />6. The City Clerk shall give notice of the public hearing by causing the Resolution <br />of Intention to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in the City not less than <br />seven days before the public hearing. Further, the City shall provide notice of the public hearing <br />to each holder of a business license tax certificate within the designated Downtown Parking and <br />Business Improvement Area by mail, postage prepaid. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council this 25th day of October, 2011. <br />Ronald O.
