<br />NOTICE OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING TO CON-
<br />SIDER THE SALE OF 3105 REDWOOD DRIVE,
<br />2555, 2565, 2567, AND 2585 FAIRMOUNT COURT,
<br />AND 2627 FAIRMOUNT BOULEVARD
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of
<br />the City of Riverside and the Housing Authority of the
<br />City of Riverside, California, will hold a joint public
<br />hearing at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, in the Art
<br />Pick Council Chambers, 3900 Main Street, Riverside,
<br />California 92522, to consider of the sale of 3105 Redwood
<br />Drive ( "Redwood Property" to the Housing Authority of
<br />the City of Riverside for affordable housing and the sale
<br />of 2555, 2565, 2567, 2585 Fairmount Court and 2627
<br />Fairmount Boulevard ( "Fairmount Properties ") to the
<br />City of Riverside for park use.
<br />Pursuant to Public Resources Code sections 5400 -5409,
<br />prior to any park land being sold, the City of Riverside is
<br />required to hold a public hearing to provide the public
<br />with the opportunity to be heard as to whether the Red-
<br />wood Property should be sold.
<br />Pursuant to the California Housing Authorities Law
<br />Section 34312.3(b), prior to selling any Housing Author -
<br />p blicc hearing t provide Authority with the pportu
<br />to be heard as to whether the Fairmount Properties
<br />should be sold.
<br />At the public hearing on June 28, 2011, all interested
<br />parties, including anyone having any objection to the
<br />proposed sale, may appear and be heard and moy show
<br />cause why the sale of these properties should not be
<br />approved. If you wish to challenge the proposed sale in
<br />court, you may be precluded from doing so unless you
<br />object to the approval of the proposed sale by objecting
<br />orally at the public hearing or by delivering written ob-
<br />edions to the City Clerk/Authority Secretary at, or prior
<br />ache public hearing. Further, in any court challenge to
<br />the sale, you may be limited to raising only those issues
<br />you or someone else raised at the public hearing de-
<br />scribed in this notice, or in written correspondence de-
<br />livered to the City Clerk/Authority Secretary, at or prior to
<br />the public hearing.
<br />Persons unable to attend the hearing may forward a
<br />written statement of their grounds of opposition to, or
<br />support of, the sale to the City Clerk/Authority Secretary,
<br />City Hall, 3900 Main Street, Seventh Floor, Riverside, CA
<br />92522, by 3 p.m. on June 28, 2011. For further informa-
