NOTICE OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE SALE <br />OF 3105 REDWOOD DRIVE, 2555, 2565, 2567, AND <br />2585 FAIRMOUNT COURT, AND 2627 FAIRMOUNT BOULEVARD <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Riverside and the Housing <br />Authority of the City of Riverside, California, will hold a joint public hearing at 3 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, June 28, 2011, in the Art Pick Council Chambers, 3900 Main Street, Riverside, <br />California 92522, to consider of the sale of 3105 Redwood Drive ( "Redwood Property ") to <br />the Housing Authority of the City of Riverside for affordable housing and the sale of <br />2555, 2565, 2567, 2585 Fairmount Court and 2627 Fairmount Boulevard ( "Fairmount <br />Properties ") to the City of Riverside for park use. <br />Pursuant to Public Resources Code sections 5400 -5409, prior to any park land being sold, <br />the City of Riverside is required to hold a public hearing to provide the public with the <br />opportunity to be heard as to whether the Redwood Property should be sold. <br />Pursuant to the California Housing Authorities Law Section 34312.3(b), prior to selling any <br />Housing Authority property, the Housing Authority is required to hold a public hearing to <br />provide the public with the opportunity to be heard as to whether the Fairmount Properties <br />should be sold. <br />At the public hearing on June 28, 2011, all interested parties, including anyone having any <br />objection to the proposed sale, may appear and be heard and may show cause why the <br />sale of these properties should not be approved. If you wish to challenge the proposed <br />sale in court, you may be precluded from doing so unless you object to the approval of the <br />proposed sale by objecting orally at the public hearing or by delivering written objections to <br />the City Clerk/Authority Secretary at, or prior to the public hearing. Further, in any court <br />challenge to the sale, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else <br />raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered <br />to the City Clerk/Authority Secretary, at or prior to the public hearing. <br />Persons unable to attend the hearing may forward a written statement of their grounds of <br />opposition to, or support of, the sale to the City Clerk/Authority Secretary, City Hall, <br />3900 Main Street, Seventh Floor, Riverside, CA 92522, by 3 p.m. on June 28, 2011.
