Disaster Funds Page 2
2013. The City is eligible for overtime costs, equipment costs and associated expenses during this
time frame for disaster related emergency and permanent work performed.
CalEMA allows for a universal designation for any disaster during the time period, which allows the
City to move forward with the application and cost recovery process in a timelier manner. This
application and Resolution would empower the Assistant City Manager, the Fire Chief and the
Emergency Operations Manager to execute applications and agreements between the City and
CalEMA and FEMA when funding is awarded for cost recovery related to these expenses.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the designation of authorized agents on behalf of the City.
Prepared by: Steven H. Earley, Fire Chief
Certified as to
availability of funds: Paul C. Sundeen, Assistant City Manager/CFO/Treasurer
Approved by: Belinda J. Graham, Assistant City Manager
for Bradley J. Hudson, City Manager
Approved as to form: Gregory P. Priamos, City Attorney
Attachments: OES Form 130
Resolution
