The Minutes of the Meetings of September 14, 1999, to be presented for approval <br /> <br />PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge to call on Human Resources Director Judith Griffith and Dr. Abdulmumin, Project Administrator for <br />the National Youth Sports Program and Director of UCR African Student Programs, to recognize the City's support in <br />the 1999 National Youth Sports Program. <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge, assisted by Councilmembers Maureen Kane and Laura Pearson, to present a Proclamation to the <br />members of the Model Deaf Community Committee proclaiming the week of September 19-24, 1999, as Deaf <br />Awareness Week in the City of Riverside. Mary Wilkins, Principal of the elementary school at California School for the <br />Deaf, Riverside, and students will also sign the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge to present a Certificate of Appreciation to Motor Officer Paul Arnold, Public Safety Officer for the <br />month of September 1999. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR--All matters listed under the CONSENT CALENDAR are considered routine by the City Staff <br />and may be enacted by the City Council by one motion in the form listed below.
