Dougall, Historic <br />Knox Mellon Resources Director <br />Alan Curl, Administrative <br />Curator <br />GUESTS: <br />Glenn Waterman, Riverside <br />Employees Credit Union <br />Clarice Turney, Assistant City <br />Attorney <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Maddox called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. <br />REQUESTED DEMOLITION OF HOUSES AT 4049 ALMOND STREET AND AT 4063 <br />ALMOND STREET, WITHIN THE PROPOSED WHITE PARK HISTORIC <br />DISTRICT <br />Vietri reviewed information presented in the staff report. <br />He said that the position of the credit union is that either the <br />subject houses must be removed or that the credit union must <br />relocate. <br />Sandison and Gardner advised that they have a financial <br />conflict of interest in this case. <br />Vanderzyl and Mellon joined the meeting at this point. <br />MOTION: Vanderzyl moved acceptance of the staff <br />recommendation that the Cultural Heritage Board recommend <br />to the Environmental Protection Commission that it <br />require a focused environmental impact report to consider <br />the historical and cultural impacts of demolishing the <br />houses at 4049 Almond Street and at 4063 Almond Street <br />and to consider a range of alternatives and mitigation <br />measures. <br />Mellon seconded. <br />
